Hi All,
Well its been a while since the last update, due to the delay in receiving Pack 6.
On the up side (if my sight allows) there`s lots of catching up to do as I also have packs 7 and 8 now.
Pack 6 Issue 19 is a long one, so I`ll be posting it in three sections asap.
Section A:
Parts supplied.....Pic 1.
First thing to note is the escape pod covers 19F, do not have orientation marks any more, see Pic 2 for the correct way to install them.
Second, there are some slight alterations to the build order, so I don`t knock the small parts all over the place and Third, there are two different sized windows in this update.
Fit 4 x 19H windows into the panel 19A (U3-11-A) as in Pic 3 and keep them in place, using a tape 19K, Pic 4. Now place the escape pod covers 8 x 19F as shown in Pic 5. Then add 22 clear windows 19G and 22 black windows 19H as per Pic 6. Next fit the larger clear windows 5 x 19C and the black windows 5 x 19D as shown in Pic 7.
OK, with a bucket load of patience at the ready (NOT SUPPLIED) position the back reflector plate 19B (U3-11-A) over all those windows, bend the LED`s on a cable 19E at 90 degrees and slip them under the plate in the centre hole, then finally fix the whole assembly together with 6 x BP screws. Yes 6, not 2 as per the instructions, Pic 8 and check all the windows are correctly positioned as in Pic 9.
Turn the panel back over and slightly loosen the two screws indicated in Pic 10. Position the LED`s on the white/yellow wires of 2 x 19E cables and retighten the screws. Pic 11 shows the end result of this part of the build.

Hi All,
Here we are with Section B of this update on Issue 19.
You will need the assembly from Section A, the main saucer frame and parts supplied for this issue, plus the assemblies from issue 4.
We start by adding the previously assembled panel to the saucer frame. Place the frame on your table, so it looks like a bowl and feed the panel under the front edge (narrow curved side first, windows facing down). Feed the side cables through the frame, making sure the yellow/white wires pass through in the correct position. Fit the LED`s on the Red/Black wires into place in the sides of the panel (Yellow arrows in Pic). CAREFULLY bend the centre LED tails to the right (White arrow in Pic, until the panel lays up to the frame and fix them together with 2 x DP screws. All shown in Pic 12. Turn the assembly over and check against Pic 13 to see everything is correctly placed. Use a sticky tape 19K to keep the wires together, Pic 14. Where we are now is shown in Pic 15.
Take the larger assembly from Issue 4 and remove the 2 x DM screws from the back. Separate the two panels, Pic 16 and put the upper panel somewhere safe for now so as not to lose any escape hatches. Take the wired panel to the saucer frame and feed the side cables/wires into positiom through the frame and pay extra attention to the Yellow/White wires of the first panel fitted, as the gap for these is very small and you must not crush the wires. When happy with everythings position fix the panel to the frame using 3 x DP screws. All shown in Pic 17.
Now take the second panel from Issue 4 (rear reflector marked U3-09-A) and loosen the three screws at the back slightly. Remove the left LED as you look at it and feed the wires around the frame as shown in Pic 18. Replace the LED and tighten the three rear screws, Pic 19 and finally feed the slack of the wires back through the frame to locate the panel into position, fixing it with 2 x DP screws, Pic 20.
That`s all for this session, see you soon for the last instalment of Issue 19.

Hi All,
This is the update for Issue 21, which will be coming in two parts.
PART A.
All parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the battery holder from issue 20 and the main saucer, along with the battle section frame.
I have changed the assembly order for the first section as follows: Start with the battery holder 20C and place the captive nut 21G into position as shown in Pic 2. Then place the cover 21H over the nut and fix it into position with 2 x BP screws, Pic 3. Now fit the battery box to the battle frame, using 2 x BM screws as indicated in Pic 4.
Place the Dorsal Phaser Array 21C, into position on the panel (U2-06) 21A as shown in Pic 5. Hold the parts together and fix them together from behind with 3 x CP screws, Pic 6.
Turn the panel back over, remove the backing from the Transporter Emiter 21B and press it into position as shown in Pic 7.
That`s it for section A of this update, be back soon.

Hi All, I`m back
So here`s Part B of Issue 21.
Take the panel from the end of Part A and position the escape pod covers 5 x 21D, plus five windows - 2 x 21E (clear) and 3 x 21F (black)as shown in Pic 8.
Carefully feed the panel into position underneath the saucer frame, making sure that the LED on red/black wires (indicated with a yellow arrow in Pic) is in position and fix the panel to the frame with just 1 x BM screw. All shown in Pic 9.
Refering to Pic 10, push the LED just mentioned into the right hand side position. Then feed the wired LED`s 21I into position, fitting the yellow/ black wired one into the left hand position. At this point you have two loose LED`s on the left side of the panel you are fitting. Make sure that both LED`s pass under the frame as indicated in Pic 11. When happy that everything is correctly placed fix the panel with a further 5 x BM screws, Pic 12. Now fix the outer edge of the panel with 4 x EM screws, shown in Pic 13.
TEST: Connect the test battery pack and circuit board as per the instructions and the result should be as shown in Pic 14. The outer panels at the end of this update are shown in Pic 15.

Hi All,
Please take note: Due to the complexities of this build and the fact I have lost 50% vision in both eyes, this issue/pack will be my last for this build. The good news is that Mark will be taking it forward, so keep looking in for further updates. Regards Derek.
Lets get on:
Issue 22 Part 1.
Part supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the battle section panel 2 supplied in pack 18. The main saucer and battle section frame, from issue 21, plus the batteries from the test box and the lid of the box. Lastly (I thinK) the battle section rear neck assembly from issue 16.
Start with the panel 22A and add escape hatches 5 x 22C, clear windows 16 x 22D and black windows 13 x 22E. all shown in Pic 2. Now take the reflector panel 22B and the wired LED`s 2 x 22K and press the Yellow/White wired ones into position as shown in Pic 3. Carefully turn the reflector plate over and place it on top of the windows you previously arranged in the front panel, fixing it in place with 2 x BP screws as in Pic 4. Front of completed panel shown in Pic 5.
Bring the main saucer to the table and fit the panel just made as shown in Pic 6, using 2 x DP screws.
Put the main saucer safely away and bring the Battle section panel 18G to the table and place the four docking latches 22G - 22J as in Pic 7. Place the Battle section frame on top, Pic 8 (making sure the four dockig latches stay in place ) and fix them together using 6 x BP screws as indicated in Pic 9.
Next fit the circuit board 22F into position, NOTE: using 2 x BM screws and 2 x FM screws as in Pic 10. Also plug the cable 22L into the position marked by a "Yellow" arrow in Pic 10. Finally for Part 1, feed the LED`s just fitted through the frame as in Pic 11, also viewable in the instructions.

Hi Again,
Here comes part 2 of Issue 22, the last update for this pack.
Carrying on from part 1, feed the wires from the battle section neck (issue 16) through the main battle section as per the nicely coloured instructions. Your result should resemble Pic 12 from underneath, with the parts rested together. When you are happy that you have all the wires in situ, fix the two sections together with 3 x CP screws as in Pic 13.
Now connect all the wired plugs into the cicuit board (as per the instructions) so it looks the same as Pic 14. Tidy the cables by pushing them under the frame as in Pic 15, but Do Not fold them flat or wires will break inside the insulation.
Remove the batteries from the test pack and install them into the model`s battery box, then use the lid of the original box to secure the batteries as shown in Pic 16. Add the battery box magnetic cover panel as in Pic 17 and operate the power switch on the model. The assembly should light up as shown in Pic 18, with the LED`s on the Red/Black wires each side strobing.
Enjot the rest of your Enterprise build, as I pass you over to Mark.
