Hi All BigGrin

Well its been a long time since Pack 1 landed, but here we are with Pack 2. This pack will cover issues 3 - 5.

Issue 3 - Part A.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1.

NOTE: Before you build anything, test the LED circuit board 19, using the test parts from Issue 2. See Pic 2.

Start with the thumb, part 01 and position the joint 17L so the tab engages with the thumb and fix them together with a type A screw, Pic 3. Then press fit the second thumb part 02 over the joint as in Pic 4. Now construct (press fit) the four fingers of the left hand as shown in Pic 5.

Bring the palm side of the hand 13L to the table and position the thumb , fixing it with a type A screw, Pic 6. Next, place the Index finger and fix that with a type A screw also, Pic 7. Repeat this last operation with the Middle and Little fingers, fixing both with type A screws, Pic 8. DO NOT fit the Ring finger at this time.

Working on the inside of the palm, add the palm screen 14L using the orientation in Pic 9. Then add the Screen Holder 16 and fix the parts using 2 x type B screws, indicated in Pic 10. Finally for this part of Issue 3, add the LED board 19 that you tested earlier and fix its position with a type B screw. Shown in Pic 11.

See you soon for Issue 3, Part 2.

Hi All, "I`m back" BigGrin

Issue 3, Part B.

Picking up from Part A, position the Ring finger onto the palm 12L, as in Pic 12. Then bring the previous assembly to the table and feed its wired plug through the back of the hand as indicated (yellow arrow) in Pic 13. Now bring the two halves of the hand together, keeping the Ring finger in place and not trapping the wire. Pic 14. With everything in its place, fix the parts together with a type C srew as in Pic 15. Now cover the last screw with the palm cover plate 11L, Pic 16. A second securing screw, type B, is placed near the wrist as shown in Pic 17.

Finally press the Web launcher frame 15L into position, Pic 18. A final test of the LED if you want, Pic 19 and the final assembly with the unused part 18, which needs to be kept safely for later use in Pic 20.

That`s all for Issue 3. Cool

Regards

Hi All, back already LOL

Position the circuit board 11 into place on the mount 09L (two pin socket facing upwards), Pic 7. Add the second side of the mount 10L and fix the parts together with a type E screw, Pic 8. Now plug the left web launcher cable, part 12 (labelled 04 Blink )into the end of the previous assembly as in Pic 9.

Bring the left hand/forearm assembly back to the table and starting at the wrist, feed the cable through the forearm and out at the elbow end, Pic 10. Feed the cable through the forearm until the circuit board mount sits in the wrist area as in Pic 11. Support the wrist (still only attached with ome screw at this point) and push the cable from the hand into the top socket as in Pic 12.

Final part (3) coming up.

Hi All, BigGrin

Last part for this Issue 4 update.

Part 3:

Position the left arm light covers as shown in Pic 13. Place the left side parts, engaging the inside tab with the side of the wrist as shown in Pic 14. Repeat with the right side parts and fix both parts using 2 x type E screws, Pic 15.

CAUTION: Position the cable from the hand as shown in Pic 16, especially the area indicated by the white arrow so that it does not get trapped/damaged in the following step.

Carefully position the forearm armour 3 - 18 (from the previous issue) as shown in Pic 17, then whilst holding the part in place, turn the arm over and fix the part with a type D screw. Pic 18. Finally cover the screw by pressing the web launcher 08L into place as shown in Pic 19.

That completes this update with Pics 20 and 21 showing the assembly at this stage. Keep the chest plate safely for later use.

Hi All, BigGrin

Here`s the last update for this pack, Issue 5.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the final assembly from issue 4.

Start with the issue 4 assembly and place the inner forearm detail 01L into position, fixing it with a type E screw as shown in Pic 2. Then fit the outer trim 02L, fixing that with a type F screw as in Pics 3 and 4.

Next position the upper arm part 03L to the elbow chassis 04L and fix them together with 3 x type G screws. Shown in Pic 5. Add the elbow pad 05L, shown in Pic 6 and whilst holding it in place, fix it with 2 x type G screws, indicated in Pic 7.

Now place the elbow end of the upper arm, next to the forearm and feed the cable through as shown in Pic 8. Bring the two assemblies together (making sure not to trap the cable) and fix them into position with 4 x type G screws, Pic 9.

That`s all for this issue and pack, with the final Pics 10 and 11 showing the arm at this stage.
