Issue 29
Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue
Assembling the School Bus Scene Take the base and back wall as shown in picture 2 and glue the back wall to the base, picture 3. Place the two side panels into the back wall and base, but DO NOT glue these in place, picture 4.
Take the school bus and the door, making sure they are the right way round, picture 5. Now glue the door in place as shown in picture 6. Next, attach the handle. This will only fit one way, as the pins and holes are a “D” shape to guide you, picture 7. Attach the black step onto the bus, making sure then small projection is at the top, picture 8.
Fit the tab on the tyre into the slot on the back wall, you may need to apply glue to hold this in place, picture 9.
Fit the school bus assembly onto the left wall inserting the top and bottom tabs, but DO NOT glue this in place as it will be removed in the next stage, picture 10.
Finally, fit, but DO NOT glue, Lucy figurine to the school bus step and handrail, picture 11.
That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 30
Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue
Assembling the School Bus Scene Take the leaf and flower sheets and using a craft knife carefully cut out all the flowers and around 6 or 7 of the leaves, picture 2.
Place the leaves randomly around the base of the foreground using PVA glue as shown in picture 3. Continue with the flowers, again randomly placing them around the base over the leaves. Add some to the top of the foreground along with a few stray leaves. Picture 4 shows how it should look when finished. Allow this to fully dry.
Retrieve the assembly from the last issue. I found that taking off both side panels helps when assembling the parts from this issue, picture 5.
First, place the first tree to the back panel, picture 6. You may need to apply a drop of glue to all the parts in this assembly to hold them in place. Next, add the tallest tree, picture 7, followed by the two cabins, picture 8.
Now place the foreground onto the base. Once in place add the bedding roll, picture 9. Finish off by adding the fishing rod and tennis racket, picture 10.
Re-assemble the two side panels, but do not glue in place. You may want to add a drop of glue to the bus assembly at this stage. Re-attach Lucy to the bus, only this time add a drop of glue to her foot and hand to secure her in place. Finally, place Linus figurine onto the foreground by placing his foot into the slot using a drop of glue.
Picture 11 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 31
Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue
Assembling Doghouse Wall Scene Check the orientation of the base and back wall, picture 2. Using the same method as before, glue the back wall into the base as shown in picture 3. Next, add the two side panels, but as before, DO NOT glue these in place, picture 4.
Add the ground to the base, by push fitting the tabs on the ground into the base. You may need a dab of glue to hold it in position, picture 5.
Glue the doghouse wall into the two tabs on the ground as shown in picture 6. Finally, place the figurine “Joe Cool” into the tab on the ground and secure him with a drop of glue, picture 7.
Adding Fluffy Clouds to the Beagle Scout scene. In the magazine it shows you to add clouds to the base to give an appearance of height in the scene. They tell you to use tissue paper, which is perfectly fine. However, I have used small pieces of cotton wool for the effect. These were glued in place using PVA glue, picture 8.
That completes the assembly for this issue.
