Hi All, BigGrin

Well, another pack of Megazord has arrived and it covers Issues 31 - 41.

In issue 31 we continue the construction of the Tyrannosaurus Dinozords right arm. Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the final assembly and the unused part 30.4 from Issue 30.

Start with the assembly from Issue 30 and press fit the forearm plates 31.1 and 31.2 as shown in Pics 2 and 3.

Now position the right shoulder base 31.5 onto the shoulder cover 31.4, Pic 4 and from the inside, fix the parts together using 4 x PWM screws and 4 x 31.6 washers. All shown in Pic 5. Connect the previous assembly to the forearm, by engaging the spindle into the shoulder, Pic 6. Add the second shoulder cover 31.3 as shown in Pic 7, then (whilst holding the parts together) fix them with a PB screw, shown in Pic 8.

Finally fit the screw cover 30.4 (from the last issue) as shown in Pic 9. That`s all for this update with the final assembly shown in Pic 10.

Hi All,BigGrin

Here we are with the update for Issue 32.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1.

Part 1:

Start with the torso, part 32.1 and either of the side plate parts 32.2, fitting the side plate into the torso as shown in Pic 2 and for clarity, engage the two tabs into the slots (marked A), then press the outer end into place (marked B) all in a close up Pic 3. Repeat this process with the second part 32.2 as shown in Pic 4.

Place the torso centre plate 32.3, the centre plate hinge 32.4 and the hinge pin 32.8 as in Pic 5. Then engage the hinge sections and feed the smooth end of the pin into place as in Pic 6. Finally, press the pin completely into position, so that the knurled end of the pin locks it in place, Pic 7.

Be back soon with Part 2.

Hi All, BigGrin

I`m back with Issue 32 Part 2.

Start with the two assemblies from part 1 and feed the hinge plate through the torso from the front and engage the hinge plate over the internal post, then fix the parts together with a 32.10 PB screw, as shown in Pic 8.

Now working on the inside of the torso, place the anchor piece 32.5 onto its mounting post and fix it with a 32.10 PB screw as indicated in Pic 9.

Next feed the plug end of the Infra Red Light 32.7 through its support 32.6, as shown in Pic 10. Feed the wires through until the IR light panel sits against the support (wires at the bottom) and fit the parts together using 2 x 32.10 PB screws, Pic 11.

Line up the IR plate and the toso, with the hinge pin 32.9 close by, Pic 12. Engage the hinge points and press the smooth end of the hinge pin fully into place as shown (rear view) in Pic 13.

That`s all for this update, with the end result shown in Pic 14.

Hi All, BigGrin

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: This update for Issue 33 and the next one for Issue 34, will be coming a bit quicker than usual, as Issue 35 (in my opinion) is in need of an order rewrite. More on that hopefully tomorrow.

Issue 33:

Parts supplied.....Pic 1. You will also need Tyranosaurus Dynozords clawed arms and the central torso assembly.

Position the left arm to the frame 33.1, fixing the parts together with 4 x PWM screws and 33.4 washers as in Pic 2, with a close up in Pic 3. Now repeat for the right arm, shown in Pic 4.

Next, position the torso section from the previous update between the arms, with the IR support plate behind the frame. Fix the IR plate into position using 2 x PB screws, Pic 5 and a close up of the screw positions in Pic 6. From the front the assembly is shown in Pic 7.

All that remains to do is wrap the foam pad 33.3 (having removed the backing paper Blink ) around the rechargeable battery 33.2, as in Pic 8.

That`s all for this update, Pic 9. See you soon for the next updates.

Hi All, BigGrin

Here`s the update for Issue 34.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the front torso assembly and the rechargeable battery from the previous issue.

Place the circuit board 34.4 to the battery holder 34.2 and fix them together using 2 x PB screws, in the orientation shown in Pic 2. Now place the battery 33.2 into the holder, Pic 3 and connect it to the circuit board as in Pic 4.

Bring the front torso assembly to the table and connect the cable from the IR light into the circuit board, as in Pic 5, with a close up view in Pic 6.

Pic 7 shows the assembly at this time. Shown in Pic 8, keep the parts 34.1 and 34.3 safely until the next update. (Coming soon).

Hi, I`m back. LOL

Ok, (coffee at the ready) here comes Part 2, delboy`s version.

Place the front torso next to the rear torso, so that the cable and circuit board from the front torso can be laid inside the rear torso. Then connect the two cables from the head into the circuit board as in Pic 8.

TEST: Press and hold the micro switch on the cicuit board for a couple of seconds and the eyes should illuminate. Press again and they should go out.

Possible results: If the eyes light up as in Pic 9 and go out when the switch is pressed again, then its "jobs a goodun". If they don`t illuminate, charge the battery via the socket on the circuit board for a while and try again later. NOTE: The eyes will most probably illuminate when you plug in the charger as they will work off the charger. Having charged the battery retest with the charger disconnected. If the eyes still don`t illuminate, disconnect the battery from the circuit board and plug in one of the replacements you received in an earlier pack and test again.

When you are happy the eyes work as they should, carry on as follows:

Position the switch button 34.3 (second one is a spare) into position in the rear torso, Pic 10. Without disturbing the switch button, position the circuit board holer and fix it in place with 2 x PB screws as shown in Pic 11. You can retest the lights to make sure the button does not stick in the on or off position.

With the electronics functioning correctly, you can now position the front torso onto the rear torso as in Pic 12, being sure not to trap the interconnecting cable. Finally for part 2, add the torso base 35.3 and fix its position with 4 x KB screws, Pic 13. Assembly at this point is shown in Pic 14.

Part 3 (coming soon) will show how the assembly transforms.

Hi All, Blushing Blushing

Confession time.

It appears that my brain was working to fast for my eyes and I inadvertantly picked up the instruction mag for issue 36 at some point by mistake. I can still show how the recent assembly transforms, it just won`t have the nicely coloured side plates on. Blink

Briefly:

Release the front torso, Pic 15.
Swing the Dino head into the chest, Pic 16.
Pivot the side horns out, Pic 17
Close the front torso, Pic 18.

The two options for the heads, Pics 19 and 20.

I now get the chance to play with it some more after Issue 36. LOL

Hi All, BigGrin

Ok, here`s the update for Issue 36 (2 parts), where we build the last stage of Tyrannosaurus Dinozord for now.

Part 1:

Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the end assembly from Issue 35.

Start by pressing the connector 36.7 into the front right shoulder 36.4, Pic 2 and slide the assembly into position on the right side of the torso, shown in Pic 3.

Now fit the back section of the right shoulder 36.5 into place as in Pic 4 and fix the shoulder assembly together with 2 x PB screws, Pic 5.

When you are happy that the two halves of the shoulder are correctly positioned, Pic 6, you can press fit the rear shoulder cover plate 36.6 into place as in Pic 7. That`s part 1 finished, part 2 coming very soon.

Hi Again, BigGrin

Here is issue 36 part 2, where parts are those left over from part 1.

Slide the left front shoulder 36.1 onto the connector plate 36.7, Pic 8 and position the assembly onto the torso as in Pic 9. Now add the rear shoulder 36.2 as in Pic 10, fixing it in place with a further 2 x PB screws, indicated in Pic 11.

As before, if you are happy that the shoulder is correctly positioned, press fit the rear cover 36.3 as in Pic 12.

That completes the construction for issue 36, with the two display options shown in Pics 13 and 14.

Keep the remaining parts shown in Pic 15 safely, until needed in the next stage.
