Issue 29
Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue
Assembling the School Bus Scene Take the base and back wall as shown in picture 2 and glue the back wall to the base, picture 3. Place the two side panels into the back wall and base, but DO NOT glue these in place, picture 4.
Take the school bus and the door, making sure they are the right way round, picture 5. Now glue the door in place as shown in picture 6. Next, attach the handle. This will only fit one way, as the pins and holes are a “D” shape to guide you, picture 7. Attach the black step onto the bus, making sure then small projection is at the top, picture 8.
Fit the tab on the tyre into the slot on the back wall, you may need to apply glue to hold this in place, picture 9.
Fit the school bus assembly onto the left wall inserting the top and bottom tabs, but DO NOT glue this in place as it will be removed in the next stage, picture 10.
Finally, fit, but DO NOT glue, Lucy figurine to the school bus step and handrail, picture 11.
That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 30
Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue
Assembling the School Bus Scene Take the leaf and flower sheets and using a craft knife carefully cut out all the flowers and around 6 or 7 of the leaves, picture 2.
Place the leaves randomly around the base of the foreground using PVA glue as shown in picture 3. Continue with the flowers, again randomly placing them around the base over the leaves. Add some to the top of the foreground along with a few stray leaves. Picture 4 shows how it should look when finished. Allow this to fully dry.
Retrieve the assembly from the last issue. I found that taking off both side panels helps when assembling the parts from this issue, picture 5.
First, place the first tree to the back panel, picture 6. You may need to apply a drop of glue to all the parts in this assembly to hold them in place. Next, add the tallest tree, picture 7, followed by the two cabins, picture 8.
Now place the foreground onto the base. Once in place add the bedding roll, picture 9. Finish off by adding the fishing rod and tennis racket, picture 10.
Re-assemble the two side panels, but do not glue in place. You may want to add a drop of glue to the bus assembly at this stage. Re-attach Lucy to the bus, only this time add a drop of glue to her foot and hand to secure her in place. Finally, place Linus figurine onto the foreground by placing his foot into the slot using a drop of glue.
Picture 11 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 31
Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue
Assembling Doghouse Wall Scene Check the orientation of the base and back wall, picture 2. Using the same method as before, glue the back wall into the base as shown in picture 3. Next, add the two side panels, but as before, DO NOT glue these in place, picture 4.
Add the ground to the base, by push fitting the tabs on the ground into the base. You may need a dab of glue to hold it in position, picture 5.
Glue the doghouse wall into the two tabs on the ground as shown in picture 6. Finally, place the figurine “Joe Cool” into the tab on the ground and secure him with a drop of glue, picture 7.
Adding Fluffy Clouds to the Beagle Scout scene. In the magazine it shows you to add clouds to the base to give an appearance of height in the scene. They tell you to use tissue paper, which is perfectly fine. However, I have used small pieces of cotton wool for the effect. These were glued in place using PVA glue, picture 8.
That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 32 Part 1
Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue
Fitting the Box Top and LED’s First take the two LED cables that came with this issue and separate them, picture 2. Note that one wire is longer than the other. Retrieve the top of the figurine box that you worked on in issue 28, picture 3.
Take the smaller wired LED cable and carefully peel off the blue backing from the LED strip, picture 4, and place it onto the top box as shown in picture 5. Insert the plug on the end of the wire into one of the sockets at the end of the circuit board. Note it does not matter with socket you use. Now take the longer wired LED strip and place it at the bottom of the box top feeding the wire into the grooves and placing the plug end into the remaining socket, picture 6.
Turn the assembly over and insert the cable loom that came in issue 28. Using the same test setup as issue 7, connect the LEDs to the battery box to test the lighting at this stage, pictures 7 and 8.
Attach the box top liner by press fitting the location pins into the matching holes in the box top. Make sure you do not trap any of the cables, picture 9. Note: I tested the lighting again at this stage.
Finally, glue the four tabs and secure the box top in place on top of the “Flying Ace” scene as shown in picture 10.
Once the glue had set, I then tested the lighting as shown in the last picture 11.
That completes part 1 of the assembly for this issue.

Issue 32 Part 2
Assembling the Box Parts Take the figurine box “Joe Cool” that was assembled in issue 31. Fit the back part in a similar way as before, hooking the tabs to the posts, pictures 12 and 13. Now place both the side panels in place, picture 14.
Take the pack of screws provided in this issue and separate the two types, long and short screws, picture 15.
Using two of the longer screws, secure the back in place, picture 16.
Fit the circuit board to the box top as shown in picture 17 and secure it in place using two of the shorter screws, picture 18.
Picture 19 shows these two assemblies complete for this issue.
That completes part 2.

Issue 32 Part 3
Making the Milk Carton Take the milk carton part and score down the blue line as illustrated in picture 20. Fold the carton gluing the tab to the inside of the end panel as shown in picture 21.
Now fold and glue the bottom tabs to form the base, picture 22.
Push the top of the carton so the folds are as shown in picture 23. Now glue the top part together leaving the spout un-glued, picture 24. Open the spout, so the carton looks open, picture 25.
That completes part 3 and the final assembly for this issue.

Issue 33
Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue
Making the Table, Tablecloth and Salad Bowls Separate the four leg parts from the sprue, picture 2. Using a small drop of quick drying glue, place the legs onto the four slots on the underside of the table, picture 3.
Glue the tablecloth to the un-printed side of the template, picture 4.
Note: Use a very week PVA glue solution as you will need to separate the template from the tablecloth once cut.
Whilst the tablecloth has time to dry, take the salad bowls and salad and glue them in place as shown in pictures 5 and 6.
Take the tablecloth and cut around the template with a pair of scissors, pictures 7 and 8.
Place some double-sided tape around the edge of the underside of the tablecloth, picture 9 and then place the pieces of the wire over the double-sided tape, picture 10.
Apply double sided tape around the edge of the table, picture 11, and then place the table in the centre of the tablecloth, picture 12.
Fold the tablecloth so it feeds around the table sides, then make some pleats around the bottom of the tablecloth.
Picture 13 shows the finished assembly for this issue.
