Issue 15

The Chest Armour

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Fit the two internal chest armour connectors in the same way as you have done previously, pictures 2. Next, fit the two inner side holes as shown in pictures 3 and 4.

Take the left shoulder piece from issue 10 along with the chest armour you’ve just assembled, picture 5.

Retrieve the four rubber rings, also from issue 10, and connect each one to the connectors on both the shoulder and armour plate, anchoring the rings to each corresponding shoulder and armour connector, picture 6.

Take this assembly along with the right chest Armor you completed in issue 14 and the detail from issue 9, picture 7.

Connect the left and right chest armour with the silver detail, picture 8. Turn the assembly over and secure it in place using 4 x type I screws, picture 9.

Picture 10 shows the completed assembly for this issue.

Issue 17

The Helmet

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Retrieve the mask and the internal mask padding. Before, peeling off the backing paper and fitting, I would recommend test fitting the padding part first so you can see how it fits inside. Peel off the backing paper of the padding and fit inside. It is quite tricky once the backing paper is off to position but start at the bottom and work your way to the top, picture 2.

Insert the right temple mask decoration 1, picture 3, then insert the temple mask decoration 2 into the first decoration. You may need a drop of glue to hold it in place, picture 4.

Next, add the first of right temple circuits, picture 5, followed by the other two, pictures 6 and 7.

That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 20

The Helmet

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Carefully separate the protective film from the upper right internal padding and stick it inside the mask as shown in picture 2.

Warning: The magazine shows the next set of parts being attached to the neck frame assembly. The instructions are somewhat confusing and wrong in several places. I have detailed in this next section the correct way to install the inner wires that attach either side of the mask.

First, you will see that you have two bags of wires, each bag containing 3 wires. Take the left-hand side parts, the bag has a “L” on it. The individual wires have a sprue on the end of each one with its number on. Break off these sprues and lay them out on order as illustrated in picture 3.

Take the first wire “DV-20-02” and attach it to the inside of the mask, pushing the two pins into the side wall and the end of the wire in the top of the three internal parts to the front of the mask, picture 4.

Take the second wire “DV-20-03” and attach the two pins directly under the first wire and the end into the middle of the front three internal parts, picture 5.

Fit the last wire “DV-20-04” in the same way, pushing the two pins into the bottom of the side wall of the mask and then pushing the end of the wire into the last bottom front part, picture 6.

Now take the right-hand side parts from the bag labelled “R” and remove the sprues as before and lay them out in order as illustrated in picture 7.

Now repeat the process as you did with the left-hand side as shown in picture 8, 9 and 10.

Pictures 11 and 12 show the complete assembly for this issue.
