STAGE 9A:
Engine.
Pic 1: Locate the engine parts 3F and 5A from stages 3 and 5. You will also need AM screws.
Pic 2: Assemble the parts as shown and fix using 2 x AM screws.
Pic 3: Make sure the water pump pipe locates in the hole in the side of the engine part.
Pic 4: Retrieve the gearbox assembly and fit it to part 5A as shown. Fix with 2 x ABM screws.
Pic 5: Fit the starter motor 6C to the side of the engine part 6A as shown. Fix with 1 x AP screw from the end of the engine part.roymattblack attached the following image(s):

STAGE 9B:
Pic 6: Fit the injection pump housing 9B and small bracket 9H together as shown, fixing it with 1 x MP screw.
Pic 7: Locate the pump parts 9E, 9F and 9C.
Pic 8: Fit the parts together as shown. They will only fit one way.
Pic 9: Shows the parts assembled.
Pic 10: Fit the bracket 9G to the assembly as shown and fix with 1 x AP screw.
Pic 11: Press-fit the connector 9D to the assembly as shown. The part will only fit one way.

STAGE 9C:
Pic 12: Locate the lever parts 9I and 9J.
Pic 13: Fit the lever 9I to the end of the assembly as shown. The part will only fit one way.
Pic 14: Fit the lever 9J to the end of the assembly as shown. The part will only fit one way.
Pic 15: Retrieve the right cylinder head 7A and fit the injection pump to the end, beside the distributor as shown.
Pic 16: Fix the pump in place with 1 x SM screw.
Pic 17: Fit the valve cover 8A in place as shown, feeding one side under the ignition leads. Press the part in place.
Pic 18: Fix the cover in place with 2 x AP screws through the holes in the side of the cylinder head.
Pic 19: Store all parts as well as the unused ABM screws safely for now.

STAGE 10A:
Injection system.
Pic 1: Retrieve the cylinder head from stage 7 and the fuel lines from stage 9.
Pic 2: Cut the fuel lines into the lengths shown.
BUILDER’S TIP: The pictures show the build following the printed instructions but connecting most of the fuel lines to the injector pump is extremely fiddly. You may find it easier to remove the valve cover and the pump and fit the fuel lines to the pump before putting it back on the cylinder head and then connecting the other ends of the lines to the injectors. This is entirely at the builder’s discretion.
Pic 3: On the injector pump there is a band of 4 x pins. Fit one end of the 40mm pipe to pin number 2 and the other end to injector 1.
Pic 4: Fit one end of a 55mm pipe to pin number 3 and the other end to injector 2.

STAGE 10B:
Pic 6: On the inside of the injector pump there is a short row of 3 x pins. Fit one end of the 65mm pipe to pin number 1 and the other end to injector 4.
Pic 7: Fit one end of the 80mm pipe to pin number 2 and the other end to injector 5.
Pic 8: Fit one end of the 85mm pipe to pin number 3 and the other end to injector 6.
Pic 9: Retrieve the engine part from stage 6.
Pic 10: Fix the parts together as shown using 2 x ABM screws saved from the previous stage.
Pic 11: Store all parts safely for now.

Pic 1: Retrieve the right engine assembly and part 10F saved from the previous stage.
Pic 2: Press the part into place as shown.
Pic 3: Retrieve part 10G saved from the previous stage.
Pic 4: Fit part 10G into the hole in part 10F as shown.
Pic 5: Retrieve parts 9K and 10D saved from the previous stages and fit them together as shown.

STAGE 11B:
Pic 6: Retrieve parts 10A and 10B. They will fit together one way only.
Pic 7: Fix the parts together with 2 x LP screws.
Pic 8: Pres the assembly 9K – 10D onto the small pin on the side of par 10B. It will only fit one way.
Pic 9: Fit the intake box 10B onto the top of the engine as shown. Make sure it is facing the right way.
Pic 10: Fit the 6 x intake trumpets 10C as shown. The trumpet furthest from the distributor will be angled.
Pic 11: Connect the rod 9K to the lever 9I as shown.

STAGE 11C:
Pic 12: Locate the cylinder head 11A and the sprue of spark plugs 11B. Fit the spark plugs in place as shown.
Pic 13: Fit the intake manifold 11C to the cylinder head. It will only fit one way.
Pic 14: Locate the two pulley parts 11D and 11E. They will fit together face to face.
Pic 15: Pulley assembled.
Pic 16: Fit the pulley to the end of the cylinder head and fix using 1 x UM screw.
Pic 17: Store the parts safely for now.

STAGE 12A:
Distributor and valve cover.
Pic 1: Locate the sprue of plug cap connectors, 12J/12I. Note the two parts that are different to the others.
Pic 2: Detail showing the different connectors.
Pic 3: Fit the two 12J connectors to the centre pins on the plug cap. 12B.
Pic 4: Fit the 12 connectors 12I to the pins around the outside of the cap 12B.
Pic 5: Locate the distributor body parts 12C, 12D and 12F.
Pic 6: Fit the parts together as shown and fix with 1 x AP screw down the centre of part 12C.

STAGE 12B:
Pic 7: Fit the bracket 12G to the assembly as shown. It will only fit one way. Fix with 1 x LP screw.
Pic 8: Fit the small angled bracket 12H as shown and fix with 1 x AP screw. The parts will only fit one way.
Pic 9: Locate the valve cover and cable bracket 12A and 12E. Fix them together as shown with 2 x MP screws.
Pic 10: Press the plug cap onto the distributor body as shown. Take care not to break any of the connectors.
Pic 11: Retrieve the cylinder head part 11A and fix the distributor in place as shown. Fix with 1 x AM screw.
Pic 12: Fit the valve cover 12A to the cylinder head as shown.
Pic 13: Fix the parts together with 2 x AP screws from the angled side of the cylinder head.

STAGE 13:
Injectors, manifolds and throttles although these parts are not used in this stage.
Pic 1: Retrieve the coil of wire from stage 11.
Pic 2: Cut 2 x 100mm lengths from the wire 11F. Connect the ends to two pins near the front of the plug cap, side by side as shown. Connect the wire from pin 1 to the right, to plug 1, and the wire from pin 2 to plug 2. Pass the wires through the bracket as shown.
Pic 3: Cut 3 x 100mm lengths from the wire 11F. Connect the ends to the pins running clockwise, side by side as shown. Connect the wire from pin 3 to plug 3, and the wire from pin 4 to plug 4 and the wire from pin 5 to plug 5. Pass the wires through the bracket as shown.
NOTE: The printed instructions say to fit the wires to the plug cap in an anti-clockwise direction but the pictures show it to be clockwise. All wires here are added clockwise.
Pic 4: Cut a wire to 135mm and connect it to pin 6 on the cap but the other end goes to plug 12.
Pic 5: Cut 3 x 130mm wires and fit them to pins 7, 8 and 9 on the cap continuing in a clockwise direction.
Pin 7 goes to plug 11, pin 8 to plug 10 and pin 9 to plug 9.
Pic 6: Cut a wire to 125mm and fit it to pin 10 on the cap and the other end to plug 8.
Pic 7: Cut 2 x wires to 115mm. Fit them to pins 11 and 12 on the cap and the other ends to plugs 7 and 6 respectively. All leads should pass through the retaining bracket.

STAGE 14A:
Intake system.
Pic 1: Retrieve the set of parts from stage 13.
Pic 2: Locate the 6 x manifolds 13B and the 6 x injectors, 13C.
Pic 3: Identify the manifold with the angled opening in the end. It is different to the other five. Make sure you know which one it is as it matters later on.
Pic 4: Fit the injectors to the manifolds as shown.
Pic 5: Retrieve the cylinder head assembly from stage 13 and place it as shown. Fit the ANGLED manifold to the left end, between wires 11 and 12.
Pic 6: Fit the other 5 manifolds as shown, so they are all between two ignition wires.
Pic 7: Fit the throttle pump support 13G to the valve cover as shown.

STAGE 14B:
Pic 9: Fit the two articulated base parts 13E and 13F together. They will only fit one way.
Pic 10: Retrieve the engine and gearbox assembly from the previous stages.
Pic 11: Fit the left cylinder head assembly 11A in place as shown.
Pic 12: Secure the parts from the inside using 2 x ABM screws.
Pic 13: Locate the intake trumpet box parts 14A and 14B.
Pic 14: Fit the parts together as shown and fix with 2 x LP screws.
Pic 15: Press the articulated base assembly 13E/13F into place on the small pin on the base 13A.
Pic 16: Store the parts safely for now.
