Issue 23

As you can see, I have taken over this build from Derek as he explained in his last two posts. I have carefully studied what has been done before, for my own benefit, so I can have a good idea what and how it has all been put together.

With all the very small parts and cables that get put together, I am very surprised on how well Derek has done with this build with only having partial sight. I was struggling at one stage with full sight. Flapper

Anyway, here we go with the next pack.Laugh

Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.

Insert three AAA batteries (Not Supplied) into the saucer section battery box. Use the new battery box cover (23C) that came with this issue and secure it using the silver screw (23E), picture 2.

Take the deck panel (23A) and fit the escape pod covers (23B) so the red line on each one is furthest away from the tapered end. Place 3 dark windows (23D) into the panel, picture 3.

Now carefully place the panel into position on the saucers skeleton and partially secure it in place with one of the BM screws as shown in picture 4.

Follow the illustration in picture 5 by first placing the two LED lights into the top of the reflector panel, circled in purple. Then place the BM screws as circled in green, and finally the EM screws circled in blue.

Now, using the battery box and the PCB board as before test the lighting, picture 6.

That completes the assembly for this issue.
