Hi All,
It`s Iron Spider update time. This pack covers issues 6 - 8, where we complete the left arm, build the left shoulder and make a start on the right hand.
Issue 6: Complete the left arm.
Part "A":
Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the left arm from issue 5.
Position the left elbow cover 1, 04L, on the arm and fix it in place using 2 x E screws as shown in Pic 2. Then add the left elbow cover 2, 05L and fix that in place with a further 3 x E screws, Pic 3.
We now move onto the upper arm parts, each of which has a tab at its elbow end that must be engaged first, before any fixing screws are applied.
Take the arm cover 1, 01L and engage the tab first, then lower the part fully into position and fix with 3 x G screws as in Pic 4. Now position Cover 2, 02L in the same manner but only fix it initially with 2 x G screws, Pic 5.
Finally for this part of the update, turn the arm over and fix the end of Cover 2 with an E screw, Pic 6.
Back soon with Part B.

Hi Again,

Now place the left upper arm chassis 06L as shown in Pic 9. Hold the parts together, turn them over and fix them using 2 x G screws as in Pic 10. Turn the arm back over and fix the chassis on the outside with a type E screw, Pic 11.

Hi All,
Coming up in three bite sized chunks is the Issue 7 update for Iron Spider. We start with the left outer shoulder assembly.
All parts supplied.....Pic 1.
Before you start construction, it is advised to check the LED circuit board as described in the magazine.
Start the construction by positioning the lower gold trim 02L onto the shoulder chassis 04L, fixing the parts together with 2 x E screws, Pic 2.
Next fit the Upper gold trim 01L as shown in Pic 3, followed by the Red shoulder plate 03L shown in Pic 4. Finally, hold the parts together and from the inside fix them with 2 x E screws, Pic 5.
Coming up very soon "The internal shoulder assembly".

Hi again,
Ok, here we are with the final part of this update.
Place the internal assembly into the shoulder and fix them together with 2 x E screws, Pic 12.
Now position the number five self adhesive tag onto one end of the cable 11, shown in Pic 13. Then plug the other end of the cable into the socket on the inside of the shoulder assembly, Pic 14.
Pic 15 shows the final assembly for this update. I chose to retest the LED operation at this point with the result shown in Pic 16.
Store the shoulder assembly carefully for later and retain the unused self adhesive number tags for later in the build, Pic 17.

Hi All,
Here`s the last update of this pack, with Issue 8. After this pack, we move up to six issues per pack.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1. Please note that some parts have an ID number on them. This number will appear in brackets in this write up.
Here, we start building the right hand.
Starting with the thumb construction, position the thumb connector 06R onto the thumb part 01(U6) and fix it with an A screw, as in Pic 2. Then press the second thumb part 02(6) into place as shown in Pic 3.
Next, construct the index finger, by pressing the parts 03(U7) and 04(7) together as shown in Pic 4.
Now position the thumb into its place on the palm of the hand 05R, fixing it with an A screw as in Pic 5. Finally position and fix the index finger, using a further A screw, Pic 6. Pic 7 shows the assembly at the end of this stage from the palm side.
