Hi All, BigGrin

Pack two of the F+F Toyota has landed and it covers issues 3 - 5.

I start Issue 3 with a word of caution: There are some press fit parts that need some gentle attention or there will be breakages. Please also pay attention to parts marked left "L" or right "R". The L/R is either on the part or the sprue if they come on one.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the front panel 1A.

Assemble the front indicators by press fitting the parts 3H to 3J and 3I to 3K. The results of which are shown in Pic 2.

Now take the left indicator and position it into the front panel 1A, as in Pic 3 and fix it into position from behind with a KP screw, Pic 4. Repeat for the right hand indicator as shown in Pic 5 and Pic 6.

We now fit the side repeater indicators. Start by positioning the left lens 3F as shown in Pic 7, then press fit the reflector 3D onto the inside of the panel, Pic 8. Using parts 3G and 3E, do the same on the right side of the panel, shown in Pic 9 and Pic 10.

That`s all for this update, Pic 11. Keep the final assembly and unused parts safe for later use.

Hi All, BigGrin

Here we are with the F+F Toyota for the update of Issue 4. I`ll be posting in three parts as follows: Hood, Steering wheel and front panel.

All parts provided.....Pic 1, you will also need the unused parts from Issue 3 and the front panel assembly.

Press the Hood Lock 1 part 4B into the hood reinforcement 4A, then clip the Hood Lock 2 part 4C in place. Shown in close up in Pic 2. The complete hood reinforcement (with hook circled) is shown in Pic 3.

Recover the hood and grilles supplied in Issue 3 and position the grilles onto the locating pins, as in Pic 4.

Carefully position the hood reinforcement over the grilles without disturbing them and fix the hood parts together with 10 x TM screws, Pic 5.

Part 2 coming very soon.

Hi All, part 3 coming up. BigGrin

The front panel:

In this part we construct and fit the front fog lights and attach them to the front panel and add the lower grilles.

Start the fog lights with parts 4J, 4H and 4I for each one as shown in Pic 11.Position a reflector 4H fully inside a support 4J and press fit a lens 4I into place. Repeat to make the second fog lamp as in Pic 12.

Position the assembled fog lights into the back of the front panel and fix each with an IM screw as in Pic 13.

Lastly we fit the lower grilles of the front panel. Fit the left grille 4K, fixing its position with 2 x SM screws, shown in Pic 14. Repeat on the right side with grille 4L and a further 2 x SM screws, Pic 15.

The end assemblies for this complete issue are shown in Pic 16.

Hi All, BigGrin

Here we are with the final update for this pack, Issue 5.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1.

Note: All parts in this issue are press fit and some are more delicate than others, so please take care during assembly.

Start by pressing two spark plugs 5E into an ignition coil 5D, as shown in Pic 2. Then repeat twice so you have three assemblies as in Pic 3. Then position them into the top of the cylinder head 5C, as in Pic 4.

Now press the cylinder head cover 5B on top of the previous assembly, Pic 5. Following on with the same assembly, add the oil filler cap 5F as in Pic 6. Take note of the semi-circular pin for orientation.

Assemble the crankcase breather pipe 5H and filter 5G as shown in Pic 7, fitting the assembly into the top of the cylinder head as in Pic 8.

Final assembly and saved part 5A (used later) in Pic 9.
