Issue 108 Part 1

Assembling the Right Arm.

Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Fit the cover parts (108E and 108F) on the outer side of the elbow as shown in pictures 2 and 3. Place the small elbow disks on each side of the elbow with the grooves visible, picture 4.

Note: I found that dabbing a little glue on before placing the disks in the grooves helped keep them in place.

Push fit the arm into the forearm elbow joint so that the holes align, picture 5. Next, place two washers (108M and 108N) onto the screw (108K), picture 6. Push the screw into the hole on the elbow and the nut in on the opposite side and tighten the screw using the socket wrench, pictures 7 and 8.

Place the end of the bracket (108G) in the arm hole and tilt the other end so the end aligns with its holes with those on the arm. Push the small pin (108H) into the hole, pushing it all the way with pliers, pictures 9 and 10.

Fit the plate (108A) to the back of the arm, pushing the two pins in the hexagonal holes. Picture 11.

That completes part 1 of this issue.

Issue 108 Part 2

Assembling the Right Arm.

Place the two rods, (108J and 108I) into position and secure them using two AP screws, as shown in pictures 12 and 13. Fit the pins of the detail (108D) into the holes on the outer side of the arm, picture 14. Now fit the plate (108C) into the holes on the inner side, picture 15.

Position the wire (108O) into the holes as indicated in picture 16. Next, fit the wire (108P) as shown in picture 17 and the same with wire (108Q), picture 18.

Snap fit the pins of the disk (108B) into the outer side of the elbow, it only fits one way, picture 19.

Picture 20 shows the complete assembly for part 2 of this issue.

Issue 109

Assembling the Right Arm.

Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Fit the elbow plate (109E) into the elbow bend post and align the holes. Align the pin (109H) with a pair of pliers or tweezers and push the pin through the hole, pictures 2 and 3. You will need to push the pin all the way in. I used the back of a small pair of pliers to do this. The pin can be quite stiff to push in, so be careful not to damage any of the parts.
Push the elbow ring (109F) onto the inner elbow bracket, picture 4.

Snap the arm plate (109D) into position connecting the three pins in front of the arm, pictures 5.

Fit the arm coil ball joint (109G) over the end of the coil (109A) and secure the parts with a YP screw, picture 6. Push fit the arm coil joint onto the top of the outer side of the arm, picture 7.

Place the arm outer disk (109B) on the circular part of the arm coil, making sure the inner notch of the disk matches the tab on the coil. Secure with a KP screw, picture 8.

Finally, snap the arm outer disk cover (109C) in place in the orientation as shown in picture 9.

Pictures 10 and 11 show the completed assembly for this issue.

Press fit the blaster mount cover (110B) onto the blaster mount (110D), picture 5. Fit the assembly onto the shield as shown in picture 6, using 2 x KP screws.

Retrieve the assembly from issue 105 and fit it the arm to the shield using a CCP screw, pictures 7 and 8.
