Issue 6

Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.

Start by fitting the right intake manifold (6K) into the side of the right cylinder head, picture 2. Fit the right cylinder assembly to the engine block (6A) and secure them using 2 x “F” screws, pictures 3 and 4.

Fit the four spark plug caps (6C) into the four holes on the top of the right valve cover, along with the two high voltage cable connectors (6D), picture 5. Do the same with the left valve cover, picture 6.

Lay the cables out in order of size that came with this issue. Take the longer cable and place it on the bottom pin on the left side of the right cylinder head as shown in picture 7. Place the other end onto the high voltage connector as shown in picture 8. Take the next longest cable and place it on the middle pin, shown in picture 9, and place it on the other voltage connector, picture 10. Working your way through the cables in order of size connect the next largest cable to the number 1 spark plug and pin, followed by number 2 spark plug as illustrated in picture 11.

The last two cables are attached on order in the same way as shown in picture 12.

That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 8

Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.

Begin by pressing the two pins of the upper left hand transmission mount (8B) into the holes on the transmission case (8A) as shown in picture 2.

Place the “U” joint into the channel at the front of the transmission case, picture 3, then fit the right-hand transmission case over the top securing it using 3 x “E” screws, picture 4. Attach the transmission connector plate (8B), securing it in place using 3 x “E” screws, picture 5.

Lay the cables out in order of size that came with this issue as you did in issue 6. The process for attaching each of the cables to the left cylinder head is identical to the process for the right cylinder head in issue 6. Take the two longer cables and place it on the bottom and middle pins on the right side of the left cylinder head, picture 6. Place the other ends onto the high voltage connectors as shown in picture 7.

Working your way through the cables in order of size connect the next largest cable to the number 1 spark plug and pin, followed by number 2 spark plug as so on, as you did in issue 6.

Picture 8 shows the complete assembly for this issue.
