Pic 12: Repeat with the wires/LED’s ‘N’.

Pic 13: Repeat with the wires/LED’s ‘V’.

Pic 14: Turn the model upside down and locate the red and blue wires ‘N’.
One of the LED’s is on a longer separate wire.
Keep this to one side and feed the other LED down the front side of the engine bay so it comes out at the front of the car.
It sounds fiddly but it’s actually quite easy.

Pic 15: Showing the correct position of the LED.

Pic 16: Feed the other red/blue wire ‘N’ through the other side of the engine bay.

STAGE 100E:

Pic 26: Position the panel in front of the car as shown and feed the two plugs/wires back through the same hole used for the other wires.
You will find this much easier if you undo the two screws holding the firewall in place but do not try to remove the firewall.
Again, long tweezers will make the task easier. Do not forget to re-tighten the firewall screws.

Pic 27: Showing the correct position of the wires ‘07’.

Pic 28: With the model upside down, fit the front panel and secure it with 2 x AGM screws and 4 x SM screws.

Pic 29: There are a LOT of wires in this model so to help keep things easier to manage, you could run all the wires fitted in this stage through the channel in the floor and keep then in place with tape.
This is at the builder’s discretion.

Pic 30: Retrieve the assembled headlight unit and plug in the three LED’s as shown keeping them in the right order.

Pic 31: Remove the bonnet support for now and store it safely.

Pic 32: Fit the headlight unit as shown and secure with 2 x ZM screws.

Pic 33: Fit the clear light cover 100A and fix with 2 x SM screws.

Store the model safely for now.

STAGE 101A:

Right headlight and front subframe.

NOTE: The order and manner of fitting the front subframe shown here is different to the printed instructions.
If you try to follow those instructions you will find assembly extremely difficult, if not almost impossible. The assembly is too springy and floppy for that method to work easily. The parts will not stay in place as you proceed.
The method described below will make the assembly far easier.
This is entirely at the builder’s discretion and you may wish to follow the printed instructions.

Pic 1: Locate the headlight parts 101B and 101C.

Pic 2: Fit the parts together and fix with 2 x AP screws.

Pic 3: Connect the LED’s into the rear of the light in the order shown.

Pic 4: Fit the light assembly to the body as shown and fix with 2 x ZM screws.

Pic 5: Fit the clear cover in place and fix with 2 x SM screws.

Pic 6: Re-fit the bonnet support 36C removed in the previous stage.

STAGE 101B:

Pic 7: Turn the model upside down and remove the AIM screw and idler arm 17F. The screw can be discarded.

Pic 8: Retrieve the front suspension subframe assembly and fit the idler arm to the locating pin on the right side of 13K. Fix with I x AIM screw.

Pic 9: Assemble the shafts 9D and 9F, and 12D and 12F.
Note that 12D is shorter than 9D.

Pic 10: Press-fit 9D/F onto the left output housing as shown.

Pic 11: Repeat on the other side with 9D/F.

Pic 12: Lower the subframe assembly onto the main chassis.
Note that the bracket 9I will locate in the area circled.
Be patient as this is quite fiddly.

Pic 13: With the model on its side, fit the bracket 9I into place and hold it there while fitting the retaining screw CM from the other side through the hole in the wheel arch.

Pic 32: At the rear of the car, connect all of the plugs as shown to the PCB.
NOTE – The wiring can all be tested now by inserting batteries into the car and the remote control unit.

Pic 34: Fix the interior to the chassis using 2 x CM screws.

Pic 35: On the other side, fix the interior to the chassis using 2 x CM screws.
