Issue 89

Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.

The Back Assembly

Connect the neck protector support (89D) to the lower neck joint as shown in pictures 2 and 3, securing it with 2 x QP screws.

Insert the neck (89E) as illustrated in picture 4.

Now connect the waist and legs from the final assembly of issue 66 to the torso by joining the pins on the inner chest plate with the side pins on the lumbar connector part. Ensure that the cables pass between the pins and they are not pinched. Secure this in place using 4 x GP screws, pictures 5 and 6.

Place the nut (89C) in the hexagonal recess on the side of the battery compartment (89A), picture 7. Place the bracket over the nut, securing it with 2 x SP screws, picture 8.

Attach the battery compartment to the inner back using 4 x AP screws, picture 9.

Note: The magazine illustrates using GP screws to attach the battery compartment to the inner back, DO NOT USE THESE SCREWS, Use the AP screws supplied.

Before attaching the back, connect both the red and blue cables together. Once these have been connected, attach the back to the rest of the torso, aligning it with the chest, taking care not to pinch any of the wires. Secure this in place using 3 x GP screws, picture 10.

Insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment and push the button to activate the sound effects.

That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 90

Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.

The Back Assembly

Position the magnet brackets (90B & 90C) on the inside shoulder (90A) as shown in picture 2. Note: the parts are labelled with an “L” and “R”.

Turn the assembly over and secure both brackets using an AP screw for each one, picture 3.

Picture 4 shows the progress so far, I know it looks like something out of the Silent Hill film at the moment. LOL Not long until we finish this now.
