STAGE 99:

Rear left wheel:

Pic 1: Locate the wheel parts 99B and 99C.

Pic 2: Fit the two parts together as shown making sure the screw locations line up on the inside.

Pic 3: From the other side, fix the parts together with 4 x DP screws.

Pic 4: Press the assembly into the tyre making sure the tread pattern is as shown.

Pic 5: Locate the rear rim 99E.

Pic 6: Fit this in place, again making sure the screw locations are in line on the inside.
Fix with 4 x BM screws.

Pic 7: Locate the bolt sprue 99D.

Pic 8: Cut 4 x 99D bolts from the sprue and fit them into the holes in the outer rim.
The black bolt faces should point inwards.

Pic 9: The printed instructions suggest you now fit the wheel.
First, fit the assembled brake disc 57D/E as shown, and then fit the wheel in place.
The washer 99F is fitted to the wheel centre next and then everything is secured using 1 x PM screw.

This stage has not been done here as the wheels are a very heavy element of the model and it might be advisable to fit them at the end of the build, when the model is no longer going to be turned upside down or moved about for assembly purposes.
This is of course at the builder’s discretion.

Store the model safely.
