STAGE 103:

Rear right wheel:

Pic 1: Locate the wheel parts 103B and 103C.

Pic 2: Fit the two parts together as shown making sure the screw locations line up on the inside.

Pic 3: From the other side, fix the parts together with 4 x DP screws.

Pic 4: Press the assembly into the tyre making sure the tread pattern is as shown.

Pic 5: Locate the rear rim 103E.

Pic 6: Fit this in place, again making sure the screw locations are in line on the inside.
Fix with 4 x BM screws.

Pic 7: Locate the bolt sprue 103D.

Pic 8: Cut 4 x 103D bolts from the sprue and fit them into the holes in the outer rim.
The black bolt faces should point inwards.

Pic 9: The printed instructions suggest you now fit the wheel.
First, fit the assembled brake disc 61D/E as shown, and then fit the wheel in place.
The washer 103F is fitted to the wheel centre next and then everything is secured using 1 x PM screw.

This stage has not been done here as the wheels are a very heavy element of the model and it might be advisable to fit them at the end of the build, when the model is no longer going to be turned upside down or moved about for assembly purposes.
This is of course at the builder’s discretion.

Store the model safely.
