Issue 95
Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue. Note: The picture does not show the oil dipstick (95C) as this was missing from my pack, a replacement is on its way.
Exhaust Manifolds Retrieve the assembly of the right-side engine block from the last issue. Position the right-side manifold as shown in picture 2. Note: the right manifold has an “R” inside for identifying the part. Secure this in place using 2 x PS28 screws, pictures 3 and 4.
Do the same with the left-hand engine block and manifold as shown in pictures 5, 6 and 7.
Take the oil dipstick and place it into the hole on the left-hand engine block as shown in pictures 8 and 9.
That completes the assembly for this issue.

Engine Block Base and Oil Filter Place the oil filter closure (96D) over the oil filter (96C) and secure it in place using a PS02 screw, pictures 2 and 3.
Retrieve the right-side engine block assembly and fit the oil filter into the cutout on the side next to the oil dipstick, picture 4.
Retrieve the engine front and place it on the end of the right-side engine block as illustrated in pictures 5 and 6.
Take the gear box joint (96B) and fit it inside the engine block base (96A), picture 7.
Position the right engine in such a way that the two lower pins on the inside of the engine block can be inserted into the rings inside the engine block base, picture 8.
Place the engine block connector (96B) and place it on the two free pins on the side of the engine block as shown in picture 9.
Finally, retrieve the left engine block and place it on the engine block base so that the four inner pins match those on the right engine block, pictures 10 and 11.
Picture 12 shows the completed assembly for this issue.

Issue 97 Part 1
Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.
Completing the Engine Block Place the filler cap (97B) on to the filler tube (97C), picture 2. Retrieve the top of the engine assembly and place the filler tube onto the top engine block, securing it with a PS02 screw as shown in pictures 3 and 4.
Now insert the pressure sensor (97D) into the hole next to the filler tube, picture 5. Secure this in place using a PS02 screw, picture 6.
Push fit the valve cover fitting (97E) onto the left valve cover. Note: It has a “D” shape pin so it will only fit one way, picture 7.
Place the top of the engine onto the engine block as shown in picture 8. Turn the assembly to the side and place 4 x DS19 screws into the holes as illustrated in picture 9. Note: Place all four screws in loosely, then tighten them in a crosswise pattern to ensure the engine parts join properly.
To finish joining the two engine parts, place two DS19 screws on the underside of the engine inside the centre rectangle at the bottom, picture 10 and 11.
That completes the assembly for part 1 of this issue.

Issue 97 Part 2
Completing the Engine Block Here we place the fuel line (97F) at the front of the engine. The pipe fits in the end of the fuel feed pipe and the fuel filter. I did find the illustration in the magazine a little confusing as to where it fitted on the fuel filter, so I have taken plenty of pictures to show how the part fits, if like me you get confused easily, pictures 12, 13, 14 and 15.
Finally, place the elbow-shaped end of the fluid line (97G) over the pin at the top of the front of the motor, picture 16 and 17.
Now place the oil pan (97A) on the bottom of the engine block, securing it with a DS19 screw, picture 18.
Picture 19 shows the complete assembly for this issue.Markwarren attached the following image(s): Regards Markwarren (Mark) Admin

Issue 98
Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.
Ignition Coil and Spark PlugsPlace the yellow circular end of the ignition coil (98F) into the cavity of the coil (98A), picture 2. Then place the other half of the coil (98B) over the assembly and secure using a PS05 screw, picture 3. Now push the coil wire (98G) into the connector pin, picture 4. Retrieve the engine and place the coil into the rectangular hole in the front of the engine, picture 5. Place the other end of the coil wire to the distributor cap as illustrated in picture 6. Place the left and right spark plug cable holders in the tops of the valve covers (98C & D), pictures 7 and 8. Place the spark plug wires coming out of the left side distributor into the left spark plug cable holder, repeat the operation with the other cables, picture 9. Using a pair of cutters, separate the spark plugs from the spue and place them on the ends of the cable and place them into the four holes in the side of the engine. Push them in fully to prevent them coming loose, picture 10. Repeat the process on the other side of the engine, picture 11. Finally, retrieve the chassis assembly and place the engine at the front, identifying the two attachment points on the gearbox front, picture 12. Secure the engine in place using 2 x DS02 screws as illustrated by the two red circles also in picture 12. Pictures 13 and 14 show the final assembly for this issue.Markwarren attached the following image(s): Regards Markwarren (Mark) Admin
