STAGE 33:

Radiator.

Pic 1: Fit the bracket 33B to the side of the radiator frame 33A and fix using 1 x EP screw.
The parts will only fit one way.

Pic 2: Fit the bracket 33C to the other side in the same way.

Pic 3: Press-fit the radiator front 33D in place as shown.
It will only fit one way.

Pic 4: Turn the assembly over and fit the panel 33E.
It will only fit one way.
Fix with 4 x AP screws.

Pic 5: Fit the filler 33F to the hole in the top left corner of the radiator front.

Pic 6: Fit the hose connector 33G to the other side of the radiator.

Pic 7: Fit the hose 33I to the connector 33G.

Pic 8: Retrieve the bottom hose 31E from stage 31 and fit it to the lower right corner of the radiator as shown.

Pic 9: Fit the long hose 33J to the fitting 33H.

Pic 10: Retrieve the main car front assembly and press-fit the angled end of the fitting 33H into the hole in the frame 23A.

Pic 11: Store the parts safely.

STAGE 34:

Radiator air scoop.

Pic 1: Fit the two air scoop parts 34A and 34B together as shown.

Pic 2: Fix the parts together from underneath with 2 x EP screws.

Pic 3: Fit the assembly inside the front frame of the car as shown.
This takes some ‘jiggling’ to achieve.
Make sure the upper front of the assembly locates under the front bar where indicated.

Pic 4: Turn the model over and fix the parts with 4 x EP screws.

Pic 5: Store the assembly safely for now.

STAGE 35:

Radiator fan.

Pic 1: Fit the fan 35B inside the fan shroud 34A as shown.

Pic 2: From the other side, fit the fan cap 35C.
It has a key/slot location so it will only fit one way.
Fix from the other side with 1 x PP screw.

Pic 3: Retrieve the radiator assembly and lay it with the fan fixing holes face up.
Fit the fan assembly in place and fix using 4 x AP screws.

Store the assembly safely.

STAGE 36:

Radiator.

Pic 1: Carefully wiggle the radiator 33A in place behind the radiator shroud 34A.

Pic 2: Fix the radiator using 2 x AM screws as shown.

Pic 3: Turn the assembly over and fix the radiator from below using 2 x EP screws.

Pic 4: Fit the top cross member 36A to the top of the radiator and fix at each end with 1 x CM screw.

Store the assembly safely for now.

STAGE 37:

Steering column.

Pic 1: Fit the steering column parts 37A and 37B together and fix from each side using 2 x CM screws.

Pic 2: Fit the other end of the column part 37C to the assembly as shown.
Make sure the main column 37A has the flat area with 2 screw holes at one end facing you, and part 37C has the flat tab that is off-centre at the bottom.
Fix the parts using 2 x BM screws.

Pic 3: Retrieve the car frame assembly and twist the column so that the flat face is toward you as shown.

Pic 4: Fit the column 37A in place and fix using 2 x UM screws.
The off-centre tab on the other end of the column should be toward the bottom.

Store the assembly safely.

STAGE 38A:

Right front wheel and engine mounting.

Pic 1: Fit the outer rim 38A and tyre 38F together as shown.

Pic 2: Fit the rear rim in place lining up the screw fixing points.
Fix the parts with 3 x IM screws.

Pic 3: Fit the inner wheel cap 38C in place.
Store the wheel and screw/washer safely for now if you choose not to fit it yet.

Pic 4: Retrieve the main frame and remove the cross-bar 25I.

Pic 5: Cross-bar removed.
Do not lose the screws.

Pic 6: Fit the engine into the frame.
It is a tight fit so take care. The fixing tabs on each side must sit down on the frame.

Pic 7: Fix on each side with 1 x MM screw.

STAGE 38B:

Pic 8: Fix on each side with 1 x MM screw.

Pic 9: Turn the model over carefully, bearing in mind the engine and frame are only held together with two screws at this stage.
Connect the radiator bottom hose 31E to the water pump.

Pic 10: With the model the right way up, connect the radiator top hose as shown.

Pic 11: Connect the long thick hose 19G onto the control valve (blue) as shown.
You may wish to trim the hose a bit shorter.
This is at the builder’s discretion.

Pic 12: Connect the power steering hose 26G as shown.

Pic 13: Connect the steel oil hose as shown.

Pic 14: With the model upside-down, feed the long steel hose 31C around the engine as indicated and connect it to the outer pin on the oil guide.

Pic 15: Fit the top cross-bar back in place.

Store the model safely bearing in mind the engine and frame are only held together with two screws at this stage.
