STAGE 40B:

Pic 7: From underneath, lift the suspension so that the two shock absorbers locate in the holes in the inside of the wheel arch 40A.

Pic 8: Fix the parts in place from above using 2 x AM screws.

Pic 9: With the model upside down, fit the lower suspension arm 6D into the hub upright as shown and fix with 1 x BM screw.
Make sure the drive shaft locates in the rubber gaiter circled.

Pic 10: Lift the steering arm 38H into position and fix it to the hub upright with 1 x BM screw.

Pic 11: From above, fix the front of the wheel arch 40A with 1 x AP screw.

Pic 12: Assemble the filler parts 40D and 40E and fit it to the locating hole in the wheel arch as shown, fixing it from underneath with 1 x AP screw.

Pic 13: Retrieve the disc assembly from stage 19 and fit it in place as shown, fixing it with the small black washer 40H and 1 x DM screw.

The printed instructions say you can now fit the front wheel using 4 x AM screws.
This has not been done here due to the added weight on the suspension and the risk of possible damage during the forthcoming build stages.
The wheels will be added at the end of the build.

This is of course entirely at the builder’s discretion.

Store the model safely for now.
