Morning Shipmates...I have ran into a problem in Issue 56. The problem is that following the instructions on page 13, I find that the gun ports will not be in line with the second row of gun ports but will fall about 2mm or 3mm to the stern of the second row gun ports...I hope that you guys can suggest what I can do about it? I have marked parts A, B and C no probs...cheers shipmates...

Hi jonny! Cool

As long as you miss the ribs you should find there is no problem aligning the top row of gun ports with the second row. Instead of setting the port 4.5mm from the rib for D,E & F, just reduce the gap between the gun port and the rib. Mark G & H so that the aft side of the ports are against ribs 28 and 30.

Leave cutting out the timber heads till last then strengthen them straight away.

Hi Johnny,

I had exactly the same problem & did as SOB suggested & moved them towards the rib.

Once the bulwarks are planked it looks fine & better than having the mis-alignment.
