STAGE 29:
Front right wheel 3.
Pic 1: Retrieve the wheel assembly from the previous stage, and the tyre 29A.
Pic 2: Fit the tyre over the wheel. To do this you may find it better to remove the wheel cover for now to prevent damaging it as you press the tyre in place. This is at the builder’s discretion. A good deal of pressure is needed to get the tyre to sit properly on the wheel rim on both sides. Take your time here and be careful.
Pic 3: When the tyre is in place, re-fit the wheel cover if you removed it.
Save the assembly and unused wheel nut 29B until later.

STAGE 30:
Brake disc deflectors.
Pic 1: Retrieve the front assembly and press-fit the right deflector 30A into the two slots in the brake back plate 22D as shown. The parts will only fit one way.
Pic 2: Shows the parts from the other side.
Pic 3: Fit the left deflector 30B in the same way.
Pic 4: Shows the parts from the other side.
Pic 5: The printed instructions now suggest fitting the front wheels. This is shown in the following steps but I am not actually fitting the wheels here as they are heavy and there is a risk of future damage to the assembly. The wheels will be fitted at the end of the build. This is entirely at the builder’s discretion.
Pic 6: Fit the right front wheel in place and locate the nut 29B from the previous stage, and the axle 30D. Fit them together as shown.
Pic 7: Fit the parts into the wheel centre and tighten the axle 30D.
Pic 8: Repeat on the other side with the wheel assembled much earlier in the build, fixing it with the axle and nut 30C and 30D.
Pic 9: As mentioned, you can fit the wheels now, or save the axles and nuts safely, to fit the wheels later. This is at the builder’s discretion.
