Does anyone have an elegant way to remove the amount of backlash (play) in the steering box of this model? 1.75 turns of the steering input shaft before the slack is taken up is just not good. Confused

Other than 3d printing a new gearbox case with repositioned gear shaft locations to improve the mesh of the gears I can't think of a simple way to solve the problem myself Sad

I have taken over this build from Derek, and not in a possision at the moment to test the steering box. As with all the other car builds I have done, there is always some play, some better than others, and in real life they certainly wouldn't pass an MOT.

I have now recieved the replacement parts I have been waiting for so will be updating the official build soon, and will test it then.
