STAGE 45:

Battery box.

Pic 1: Locate the battery box 45A and fit the switch in place inside.
Note that the two red wire connections are on the right.
Fix the switch with 2 x WP screws.

Pic 2: From the other side, the switch should be in the ON position.

Pic 3: Retrieve the main assembly and fit the battery box under the opening at the rear. The switch should be on the right as shown.
Fix with 4 x EP screws.

Pic 4: From the other side, fit the cover 45B in place.

Pic 5: Fit the rear cross member 45C in place as shown.

Pic 6: From the other side, fix with 2 x EP screws.

Store the model safely.

STAGE 46:

PCB and speaker.

Pic 1: Fit the PCB 46A into the battery box in the position shown.
Fix with 4 x EP screws.

Pic 2: Connect the on/off switch wire to the socket indicated.

Pic 3: Position the speaker 46C as shown on the floor of the car.

Pic 4: Fit the retaining bracket 46B and fix with 2 x AM screws.

Pic 5: Carefully fold the yellow wires back over the speaker and tape it down in the positions shown using pieces of 46F tape.

Pic 6: Fit the LED wire 46D along the side of the floor as shown and fix it down using 2 x brackets 46E and 2 x EM screws.
The white connectors on the wires should be central between the brackets.

Pic 7: Fit the yellow and grey wires side by side and tape them as shown with a piece of 46F tape.

Store the model safely for now.

STAGE 47:

Remote control.

Pic 1: Fit the rubber pad 47D inside the casing 47A as shown.

Pic 2: Fit the control board 47C inside the casing.
It will only fit one way.

Pic 3: Clip the rear cover 47B onto the casing.

Pic 4: Fit the battery holder 47E into the casing as shown.

Pic 5: Connect the yellow and grey wires to the correct sockets on the PCB as shown.
You can now put batteries in the car and the remote control to test that all the functions work.

Remove the batteries and store everything safely for now.

STAGE 48A:

Rear subframe loop.

Pic 1: Fit the bracket 48D to the subframe 48A.
Note that the sloping side should be on the inside if the frame.

Pic 2. Another view showing the angle of 48D. Fix from the other side with 2 x ABM screws.

Pic 3: Fit the brace 48B on the frame side as shown with the longer leg inwards.
Fix from underneath with 1 x NP screw.

Pic 4: Fit the brace 48C on the frame side as shown with the longer leg inwards.
Fix from underneath with 1 x NP screw.

Pic 5: Cut the tube 48F into two lengths: 45mm and 350mm.

Pic 6: Fit the coupling 48F to the tubes as shown.

STAGE 48B:

Pic 7: It would be advisable to tape the LED strip on the main assembly using a piece of masking tape to prevent it falling away when the model is turned over.
This is at the builder’s discretion.

Pic 8: With the model upside down, fit the 45mm piece of tube to the pin on the brake reservoir 41B.

Pic 9: Shows where the pipe connects.

Pic 10: Feed the 350mm piece of tube up through the frame and under the exhaust.

Pic 11: Feed the pipe under the cross-members as shown.

Pic 12: Store the model and parts safely for now.
