STAGE 39:

Exhaust 2.

Pic 1: Retrieve the main assembly and carefully place it upside down.
Fit the exhaust 39B in place and fix with 2 x IM screws.

Pic 2: Retrieve the exhaust assembly 38C/38F.
The printed instructions suggest removing the top turbo cover to fit the exhaust in place but this isn’t really necessary as the parts fit together easily.
This is at the builder’s discretion.

‘Wiggle’ the exhaust 38C into place under the sub frame and fit the end into the turbo as shown.

Pic 3: Shows the connection of the other end.

Pic 4: Parts in place, seen from above.
If you removed the turbo cover, re-fit it now.

Pic 5: Store the model and unused parts safely.

Pic 3: Fix the muffler part 40C in place with 2 x CP screws.

Pic 4: Fit the bracket 40D to the muffler and fix with 1 x CP screw.
The bracket will only fit one way.

Fit the exhaust assembly as shown and fix with 1 x AM screw at the front and 1 x CP screw through the bracket at the rear.

Pic 6: Retrieve the exhaust 39A from the previous stage and fix it in place as shown using 3 x CP screws.

Pic 7: Press-fit the heat shield 39C from the previous stage in place.

Store the model safely.
Be careful as the model is heavy and will now be resting on the exhaust at the rear.
