NISSAN SKYLINE WIRING PROBLEM FIX
This is entirely at the builder's discretion.

Anyone building this model will find connecting the myriad of upper body wiring to the main PCB on the rear floor incredibly difficult due to the short wires and almost no access to connect things.
This ‘fix’ needs to be done at stage 95.

Pic 1: Place the red boot floor panel 95B into the main boot floor part 95A and with a fine marker, draw around the opening.
With the red panel 95B removed, cut out the area with a fine saw or knife.
If the cut isn’t very neat or tidy it will not matter as with the red panel in place it will not show.

Pic 2: Using the removed plastic, cut two strips and glue them under the boot floor so they project a little into the opening, as indicated in white.

Pic 3: Assemble the JBL speaker as per the instructions, but now, do NOT fix it into the opening.
It just rests on the side strips.

Pic 4: This shown the speaker in place, but NOT fixed down.

Pic 5: When fitting the body to the floor in stage 103, remove the upper sound system part indicated.
It is a simple push-fit.
Also, remove the JBL speaker in the boot floor.

Pic 6: Fit the body as described in the stage 103 instructions, connecting the wires as best as possible.

With the body fixed down, you will now have access to the PCB through the boot floor to connect any difficult or short wires, and to check everything is connected properly.

Add batteries and test it all.

Fit the speaker and sound system parts back in place.

As mentioned at the beginning, this is entirely at the builder’s discretion.
