STAGE 9:

Turbine engine 5.

Pic 1: Fit the fan 9-2 onto the shaft 9-1 as shown.
Fan 9-3 will go on next.

Pic 2: Parts assembled.

Pic 3: Fit one of the exhaust fans 9-4 onto the other end of the shaft as shown.

Pic 4: Fit the other 4 x fans 9-4 as shown.

Store the assembly safely for now.

STAGE 10A:

Turbine engine 6.

Pic 1: Fit the bracket 10-6 over the turbine assembly as shown.
The part will only fit neatly one way.
Fix from underneath with 2 x ‘D’ screws.

Pic 2: Screw fixings.

Pic 3: Locate the motor 10-1 and the adhesive pad 10-7.

Pic 4: Peel the backing from the pad and stick it around the motor as shown.
NOTE – you may find the pad doesn’t stick very well and you might need to use a very small amount of adhesive at each end, applied extremely carefully as it must not get inside the motor.
This is entirely at the builder’s discretion.


Pic 5: Retrieve the turbine housing and fit the motor in place where indicated.

Pic 6: Fit the retaining bracket 10-2 and fix with 2 x ‘D’ screws.

STAGE 10B:

Pic 7: Retrieve the inner assembly from stage 9 and locate the 3 x blades 10-3.

Pic 8: Fit the blades to the shaft in the same way as before.

Pic 9: Retrieve the housing assembly from stage 7 and fit 2 x small pipes 10-4 as shown.

Pic 10: Fit the other 2 x 10-4 pipes to the other side.

Pic 11: Fit the 4 x larger pipes 10-5 into the housing as shown, two on each side.

Pic 12: Store all parts safely for now.

STAGE 11
:
Turbine engine 7.

Pic 1: Press-fit the 5 x oil pipes 11-2 into the housing 11-1 as shown.

Pic 2: Retrieve the assemblies’ 10-C and 10-D and fit them together.

Pic 3: Fit the upper housing in place on the lower assembly.

Pic 4: Fix the parts together with 4 x ‘D’ screws where indicated.

Store the parts safely for now.

STAGE 12:

Turbine engine 8.

Pic 1: Fit the fan 12-2 into the combustion chamber 12-1 and fix with 4 x ‘D’ screws.

Pic 2: Retrieve the main turbine assembly from the previous stages. The combustion chamber will fit over the shaft indicated.

Pic 3: Parts clip-fitted together.
The parts will only fit one way.

Pic 4: Retrieve the assembly from stage 10.
It will also clip-fit to the main assembly.

Pic 5: Parts clip-fitted together.
The parts will only fit one way.

Pic 6: Fit the manifold 12-3 as shown.

Pic 7: Fit the manifold 12-4 as shown.

Store the assembly safely.

STAGE 13:

Left rear suspension.

Pic 1: Fit the bracket 13-4 to the suspension arm 13-3 in the direction shown and fix with 1 x ‘F’ screw from the ‘flat’ side of the bracket.

Pic 2: Fit the shock absorber assembly 13-2 to the arm as shown and fix with 1 x ‘F’ screw from the side indicated.

Pic 3: Fit the tilt frame/hub upright in place as shown and fix through the underneath with 1 x ‘G’ screw.

Pic 4: A different view of the assembly.

Store the parts safely for now.

STAGE 14:

Left rear brake.

Pic 1: Fit the caliper 14-6 to the assembly from stage 13 and fix with 1 x ‘A’ screw.
NOTE – The printed instructions incorrectly call the screw ‘F’.

Pic 2: Press-fit the back plate 14-4 into place.

Pic 3: Locate the disc halves 14-1 and 14-2.
They will fit together face to face.

Pic 4: Parts assembled.

Pic 5: Peel the backing paper from the metal disc face 14-3 and stick it to the disc as shown.

Pic 6: Fit the disc centre 14-5 in place and fix from behind with 2 x ‘I’ screws.

Pic 7: Store the parts safely for now.
