STAGE 51:
Rear parcel shelf.
Pic 1: Retrieve the main assembly and fit the fuel cell retaining rack in place, noting how the 3 x pipes go through the centre.
Pic 2: With the rack positioned as shown, fix it down with 4 x JM screws.
Pic 3: Connect the silver fuel hose as shown.
Pic 4: Retrieve the rear subframe loop 48A saved from stage 48 and fit the support 51C in place as shown. Fix it with 1 x EP screw.
Pic 5: Fit the support 51B in place as shown. Fix it with 1 x EP screw.
Pic 6: Fit the assembly in place on the rear deck of the car where indicated.
Pic 7: Carefully place the model upside down taking care not to put the model weight on the rear ‘V’ tubes on the subframe loop. Fix where indicated with 2 x CM screws and 3 x EP screws.
Pic 8: Fix the other side using 1 x CM screw and 1 x EP screw as shown. NOTE – The printed instructions incorrectly tell you to use a CM screw where it should be EP. A CM screw is too small.
Pic 9: With the model the right way up, fit the parcel shelf 51D in place and fix with 2 x AM screws and 4 x AP screws where indicated.

STAGE 52:
Rear lower subframe.
Pic 1: Fit the chain 52D to the INSIDE FACE of the bracket 52D and fix with 1 x AFM screw.
Pic 2: Repeat with the bracket 52C.
Pic 3: Fit the bracket/chain 52B to the frame 52A as shown and fix with 2 x CM screws.
Pic 4: Close up of assembly.
Pic 5: Repeat on the other side with bracket/chain 52C.
Store the parts safely for now.

STAGE 53:
Rear brake lines.
Pic 1: Retrieve the frame 52A from the previous stage and fit the cross bar 53F in place with the flattened slightly angled end fixed to the frame with 1 x ABM screw. The other end will be unattached for now.
Pic 2: Press-fit the brake elbow 53C into the side of the fitting 53A. (Marked with a small ‘L’)
Pic 3: Press-fit the brake elbow 53C into the side of the fitting 53B. (Marked with a small ‘R’)
Pic 4: Fit the left assembly to the frame as shown and fix with 1 x AM screw.
Pic 5: Fit the right assembly to the frame as shown and fix with 1 x AM screw.
Pic 6: Retrieve the main assembly and carefully place it upside down. Fit the brake union 53D to the hole in the centre of the floor between the rear wheel arches as indicated.
Pic 7: From the other side, fix the union using 1 x AP screw through the central hole in front of the parcel shelf.
Pic 8: Cut the tube 53E into 2 x 50mm lengths and 2 x 60mm lengths.
Pic 9: Fit the 2 x 60mm tubes into the rear-facing holes in the pipe connectors as shown.
Pic 10: Fit the 2 x 50mm tubes into the upward-facing holes in the pipe connectors as shown.
Store the parts safely for now.
