Issue 39
Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue. Fit the differential casing (39C) into the two holes in the centre part of the upper differential housing (39A), picture 2. Secure it in place using 2 x “I” screws, picture 3.
Insert the small mounting post on the driveshaft yoke (39D) onto the hole as shown in picture 4. Secure it using an “I” screw, picture 5.
Retrieve the assembly from issue 38 and place the upper differential housing over the lower housing, picture 6. Secure the two assemblies using 4 x F type screws, picture 7.
Fit one of the ends of the driveshaft (39B) onto the driveshaft yoke, picture 8.
That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 40
Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue. Fit the rear shock absorber piston (40A) into the hole in the left rear shock absorber bracket (40B), picture 2.
Retrieve the assemblies from issues 37 and 39, placing the rear leaf spring in place, noting which way around it goes, picture 3. Place the shock absorber bracket over the leaf spring, matching the hole in the differential housing and secure the parts in place using an F type screw, picture 4.
Turn the assembly over and place the two “U” bolts from issue 38 either side of the leaf spring, picture 5. Turn the assembly over once more and secure the “U” bolts in place using 4 x D screws, picture 6.
Finally, fit the left rear brake plate (40C) onto the axle and secure it using 2 x H screws, picture 7.
Picture 8 shows the assembly complete for this issue.
