STAGE 45:

Remote control.

Pic 1: The rubber keypad 45C will fit inside the front panel 45B.

Pic 2: Parts assembled.

Pic 3: Fit the circuit board 45E inside the assembly as shown.
It will only fit one way.

Pic 4: Clip the back cover 45A in place.
The battery holder 45D will fit in the slot indicated.

Pic 5: Shows the functions of all the controls.

You can now add batteries to the model and the remote control to test the electronics.

To avoid posting 13 different copies of the printed instruction images, refer to the supplied booklet pages and keep the magazine for future reference.

Store your model and remote control safely after removing the batteries.

STAGE 46A:

Steering box and wiring.

Pic 1: Locate the steering shaft parts 46B and 46E.
They will fit together.

Pic 2: Assemble the parts and fix with 2 x AM screws.

Pic 3: Fit the universal joint 46G in the end of the assembly and fix with 2 x IM screws.

Pic 4: Fit the long shaft 46F as shown and fix with 2 x IM screws.

Pic 5: Fit another universal joint 46G in the open end of the assembly and fix with 2 x IM screws.

Pic 6: Locate the steering box parts 46A, 46D and 46H.

They will fit together in the order shown.

STAGE 46B:

Pic 7: Fix the parts together with 1 x AM screw.

Pic 8: Fit the shaft assembly into the steering box as shown.

Pic 9: Fit the cover 46C and fix with 2 x IM screws.

Pic 10: Retrieve the main car assembly and ‘wiggle’ the steering box in place behind the shock absorber.
The steering box is outlined in yellow for clarity.

Pic 11: Turn the front wheels so the screw shaft on the steering rack is accessible.
Fit the steering arm from the steering box over it.

Pic 12: Fix the parts together using 1 x GM screw.

Pic 13: Move the steering box so it sits on the side chassis frame and fix with 2 x AM screws.

STAGE 46C:

Pic 14: Fit the two connectors 46J and 46K to the oil cooler 46L in the positions shown.

Pic 15: Press-fit the cooler front 46M in place.

Pic 16: Connect the oil cooler to the two hoses coming from the engine.
The hoses are highlighted in yellow for clarity.

Pic 17: Fit the cooler down the inside of the chassis rail.
The two pins on the bottom will locate in two fixing tabs.

Pic 18: Press-fit the crankcase rod (dip stick) into the locating hole at the bottom of the engine.

Pic 19: Fit the oil hose 46O to the pin on the steering pump and the other end to the pin on the manifold.
The hose is highlighted in yellow for clarity.

Pic 20: Connect the cable 46P to the pin on the throttle assembly as shown.
The other end is free for now.

STAGE 46D:

Pic 21: Connect the sensor pipe 46N to the pin on the sensor where indicated.
Pass the pipe through the retaining clip as shown.
The other end is free for now.

WIRING:

Pic 22: Retrieve the main assembly and carefully gather together the wires I, M, N, O, P, Q and R.
Run them towards the rear of the car as shown and tape them down using pieces of tape 22D.

Pic 23: Gather together the wires A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H.
Run them neatly towards the front of the car and tape them down using pieces of 22D tape as shown.

Pic 24: Gather together the three wires on the far rear side of the chassis and tape them down in the same way.

Pic 25: Carefully unplug all the wiring extensions on the front cables and store them safely in a labelled bag for future use.

Pic 26: Carefully unplug all the wiring extensions on the rear cables and store them safely in a labelled bag for future use.

Store everything safely for now.

STAGE 47:

Front left wheel arch.

Pic 1: Locate the arch parts 47A and 47C.

Pic 2: Fit the parts together as shown and fix with 1 x IP screw.

Pic 3: Locate the arch part 47B.

Pic 4: Fit it to the front of the assembly and fix with 1 x IP screw.

Pic 5: Retrieve the main assembly and move all of the front wires out of the way of where the wheel arch will fit.

Pic 6: Fit the arch as shown and fix with 3 x BM screws.

Store the model safely.
