STAGE 57B:

Pic 6: Cut one end of the strap 57C to the shape as shown.

Pic 7: Carefully burn the end to seal it.

NOTE: An easier and safer way is to dip the end of the strap in a tiny dot of cyano glue and allow it to dry before cutting the shape.
This is entirely at the builder’s discretion.

Pic 8: Pass the strap through the bracket 57B (smaller bracket) as shown and stick a piece of double sided tape to the large end of the strap.

Pic 9: Peel the backing from the tape and fold it over the bracket.

Pic 10: Fit a catch 57D to the narrow end of the strap and using a piece of tape, fold it over in the same way.
Make another strap in the same way so you have two sets the same.

Pic 11: Using parts 57D, 57F, 57H and 57K, make two more sets of straps using the same method.

Pic 12: Straps assembled.

STAGE 57C:

Pic 13: Lay a long strap 57G face down so the ‘Sabelt’ name is underneath and fit a large bracket 57E in place as shown.
The ‘S’ in Sabelt must be nearest to the bracket or the name will be upside down when finished.
Stick a piece of tape 57K as shown.

Pic 14: Fold the end of the strap over as with the other belts.

Pic 15: Retrieve strap 57F and pass the end of the new strap through the bracket 57H where indicated.

Pic 16: Again using the tape method, fold the end of the strap over and fix it in place.

Pic 17: Completed strap.
Note the direction of the name.

Pic 18: Make another set the same.

Pic 19: Fit one of the straps 57C through the side of the seat.

Pic 20: Fit the bracket to the floor and fix from underneath with 1 x AP screw.

STAGE 57D:

Pic 21: Repeat with the other strap on the other side.

Pic 22: Fit the two long straps through the upper holes in the seat back.
It will be far easier to fit them from behind.

Pic 23: Locate the strap lock back 57J and fit the ends of the three lower straps in place as shown.
This VERY fiddly so be patient.

Pic 24: Fit the two upper straps in the same way.

Pic 25: Press-fit the front lock 57I into the central hole to fix everything together.

Store the assembly safely for now.

STAGE 58:

Co-driver’s seat.

Pic 1: Cut the end of the strap 58C to the shape shown.
The printed instructions then tell you to carefully burn the ends of the strap to seal the fabric.

A far easier and safer alternative is to carefully dip the end of the strap in a tiny dot of Cyano adhesive and then let it dry, before cutting the shape.
This suggestion is entirely at the builder’s discretion.

Pic 2: Stick a piece of self-adhesive tape 58E to the strap as shown and then fit the buckle 58D.

Pic 3: Peel the backing from the tape and then fold the strap parts over as shown.

Pic 4: Slide the bracket58B onto the strap and fix a piece of tape 58E in place at the end of the strap.

Pic 5: Peel the backing from the tape and then fold the strap over as shown.

Pic 6: Retrieve the floor assembly 54A and fit the strap bracket as shown.
Fix from underneath with 1 x AP screw.

Pic 7: Store the parts safely for now.
