STAGE 69:

Tank, pump wall, pipes.

Pic 1: Fit the connector on the end of 69H to the top of the tank 69A as shown and fix from behind with 1 x AP screw.

Pic 2: Fix the rear of the tank 69B using 3 x AP screws.

Pic 3: Press-fit the pipe connector 69C in place on the top edge of the tank

Pic 4: Retrieve the filter cross-bar 67A and fix the tank in place as shown using 1 x QM screw.
Make sure the hose on the tank is in front of the frame.

Pic 5: Retrieve the base 68A and fit the ends of the hoses 68F and 68G to the pins on the end of 69H.

Pic 6: Press-fit 69H in place on the front of the pump half as shown.

Pic 7: Press-fit the middle connector on 69H to the top of the other pump as shown.

Pic 8: Fit the cross-bar 67A to the assembly as shown and fix with 2 x AM screws.

Pic 9: Store all parts safely for now.

STAGE 70:

Rear wheel and pipes.

Pic 1: Fit the rim 70B into the tyre 70A.

Pic 2: Turn the assembly over and fit the rear rim 70C making sure the screw fixing points are aligned.
Fix with 3 x AM screws.

Pic 3: Retrieve the assembly from the previous stage and fit the hose 69F as shown – highlighted in yellow.

Pic 4: Fit the hose 69G into the tank as shown.
Check the fitting of connector 67H is still in place as it can easily be dislodged.

Pic 5: Fit the end plate 69D as shown and fix with 2 x AM screws.

Pic 6: Retrieve the side panel 67B from stage 67 and fit it in place.
Fix from underneath with 2 x AP screws.

Store all parts safely for now.

STAGE 71:

Central body.

Pic 1: Fit the body hinge bracket 71B to the body panel 71A as shown and fix with 3 x ASM screws.

Pic 2: Close up detail of the parts.

Pic 3: Press-fit the door catch 71C in place as shown.

Pic 4: Fit the opposite door catch in the same way.

Pic 5: You will be mounting the engine in the next few stages.

The printed instructions advise checking the orientation of the brackets 16E and 20E (highlighted yellow) on the sides of the engine as the printed instructions for those stages were incorrect and the brackets were the wrong way round, making the other rod connections very difficult.
The picture shows the left side – 16E.
The other side – 20E is the same.

If you have followed the build stages here, you will have fitted the brackets correctly.

Store the parts safely for now.
