STAGE 51:

Firewall panel.

Pic 1: Press-fit the relay 51B into the locating hole on the upper left of the firewall 51A as shown.

Pic 2: Fit the brake pump 51C into the locating hole on the upper right of the firewall and fix from behind with 1 x CP screw.

Pic 3: Retrieve the main assembly and connect the orange tube 51D to the front pin on the small circular chrome fuel filter as indicated.

Pic 4: Detail the connected tube.

Store everything safely for now.

STAGE 52A:

Brake reservoir and booster.

Pic 1: Fit the pump 52D to the booster 52E as shown and fix from behind with 1 x BP screw.

Pic 2: Press-fit the support bracket 52G in place.

Pic 3: Fit the orange tube 52K to the assembly as shown.

Pic 4: Fit the tube 52H to the reservoir 52C.

Pic 5: Fit the reservoir to the brake assembly as shown and fix with 1 x AP screw.

STAGE 52B:

Pic 6: Press-fit the top cover 52A in place.

Pic 7: Press-fit the filler cap 52B.

Pic 8: Fix the rear plate 52F in place with 3 x AP screws.

Pic 9: Fit the long blue tube 52L to the small pin on the back of the assembly.

Pic 10: Retrieve the bulkhead panel 51A and fit the brake assembly in place as shown.
Fix from behind with 2 x AP screws.

Pic 11: Fit the two tubes 52J and 52L to the pins on the brake servo assembly.

Store safely for now.

STAGE 53A:

Front brake system.

Pic 1: Retrieve the bonnet (hood) from stage 4 and press-fit the interior light 53N.

Pic 2: Retrieve the firewall 51A and fit the two hoses 53J and 53K as shown.
Note that 53J is longer and connects to the lower pin.

Pic 3: Fit the hose 53B to the pin on the servo 52E as shown.

Pic 4: Locate the brake distributor parts 53E and 53F.
They will fit together as shown.

Pic 5: Parts assembled.

Pic 6: Fit the assembly to the front inner wing of the body as shown and fix from underneath with 2 x AP screws.

Pic 7: Connect the hose 53G to the assembly and to the pin on the lower inner wing as shown.

STAGE 53B:

Pic 8: Connect the parts 53A, 53D and 58H as shown.

Pic 9: Fit the hose 53C to the angled pin on 53A as shown.

Pic 10: Press-fit 53A into the locating hole on the inner wing where indicated.

Pic 11: Press-fit 53H into the locating hole where indicated.

Pic 12: Connect the hose 53C to the pin nearest the engine on the brake distributor.

Pic 13: Connect the parts 53I, 53L and 53M as shown.
Note the pipe 53M is longer.

Pic 14: Press-fit the connector 53L into the locating hole on the inner wing.
The longer tube 53M feeds through the slot inside the inner wing, to come out under the wheel arch.
The hose 53I connects to the lower pin on the brake distributor.
The hoses are highlighted yellow for clarity.

Pic 15: Connect the hose 53M to the pin on the top of the brake caliper.

Store everything safely for now.

STAGE 54A:

Electronic control unit.

The order of assembly of some parts here is different to the printed instructions to make it much easier.

Pic 1: Assemble the electronic control unit (ECU) parts 54F, 54G, 54H and fix from underneath with 1 x AP screw.

You will find the coloured wires are a loose fit in their locations so a small dot of cyano adhesive will be needed to keep them in place.
This is at the builder’s discretion.

Pic 2: Press-fit the terminal 54E in place as shown.

Pic 3: Press-fit the assembly in place in the two locating holes on the top of the inner wing.

Pic 4: Assemble the ECU parts 54A, 54B and 54C as shown.

Pic 5: Add wire 54D to the ECU as shown.

Pic 6: Press-fit the curved bracket 54A (highlighted in yellow) onto the two locating pins on the upper wheel arch.

STAGE 54B:

Pic 7: Fit the ECU into the locating hole on the wheel arch as shown and fix from underneath with 1 x AP screw.

Pic 8: Connect the wire 54D to the terminal as shown.

Pic 9: Press-fit the bracket 54K onto the pin on the wheel arch as shown.

Pic 10: Locate the 2 x NOS cylinders 54I and the stickers 54J.

Pic 11: Carefully wrap the stickers around the cylinders as shown.

Pic 12: Press-fit the cylinders onto the bracket.

Pic 13: Retrieve the firewall assembly and fit the tube 54L to the pin on the support 52G.

Store everything safely for now.

STAGE 55:

Right engine bay panel.

Pic 1: Fit the relay box parts 55B and 55C together and fix with 1 x AP screw.

Pic 2: Fix the assembly to the front panel 55A using 2 x AM screws.

Pic 3: Fit the panel to the front right of the engine bay as shown and fix through the location shown into the top of the spring assembly with 1 x EM screw.

Pic 4: Fix the inner edge of the panel with 3 x BM screws.

Pic 5: Fix the panel to the top of the curved outer wheel arch with 2 x IP screws.

Pic 6: From underneath, fix the inner panel using 1 x AM screw and 1 x BM screw where shown.

Store the model safely.

STAGE 56A:

Engine bay modules.

Pic 1: Locate the ABS module parts 56I, 56J and 2 x 56K.
Press-fit them together as shown.

Pic 2: Fit the short blue wire 56F to the pins indicated.

Pic 3: Fit the longer blue wire 56G to the pins indicated.

Pic 4: Fit the 2 x brake hoses 56D and 56H to the connector 56C.

Pic 5: Connect the shorter hose 56H to the pin shown on the ABS module.

Pic 6: Connect the 2 x long black hoses 56P to the pins indicated.

Pic 7: Fix the assembly to the right inner wheel arch as shown with 1 x IM screw.
Pass the end of hose 56D through the slot in the wheel arch as indicated.

Pic 8: Connect the end of the hose to the pin on top of the brake caliper.

STAGE 56B:

Pic 9: Connect the thicker hose 56Q to the pin on the water pipe as shown.

Pic 10: Press-fit the canister parts 56A, 56B and 3 x 56E together as shown

Pic 11: Fit the canister in place where indicated and fix from below with 1 x AP screw.

Pic 12: Fit the cruise control module parts 56L and 56M together.
They will only fit one way.
Fix with 2 x AP screws.

Pic 13: Connect the long blue wire 56N as shown.

Pic 14: Connect the end of the wire to the spare pin on the throttle intake and clip the wire into the holder as circled.

Pic 15: Fix the module in place where shown and fix with 1 x IM screw.

Pic 16: Connect the 2 x orange wires 56O to the canister as shown.
Bring the long orange wire 51D around the rear of the engine and connect it to the other pin on the canister.

Store the model and unused BM screws safely for now.
