STAGE 69A:

Dashboard and roll cage.

Pic 1: Retrieve the dashboard from the last stage and fit the control panel 69B as shown.
Fix from behind with 2 x AP screws.

Pic 2: Repeat using the panel 69C and 2 x AP screws.

Pic 3: Fit the third panel 69D and fix from behind with 1 x AP screw.

Pic 4: From behind, fit the gauge panel 69E as shown.

Pic 5: Fix the bracket 69F over the gauges with 2 x AP screws.

Pic 6: Press-fit the control stalks 69G and 69O into the locating holes in the dashboard where shown.

Pic 7: Press-fit the two switches 69I in place where shown.

STAGE 69B:

Pic 8: Fit the 3 x control boxes 69H and 1 x 69P in place where indicated.

Pic 9: Fit two more switches 69I where shown.
Fit the switches 69L and 69J where indicated.

Pic 10: Retrieve the front panel assembly from the previous stage and fit the dashboard in place as shown.

Pic 11: Fix from the other side with 3 x AP screws.

Pic 12: The assembled dashboard.

Pic 13: Fit the top panel 69A in place.

Pic 14: Fix from underneath with 3 x AP screws.

STAGE 69C:

Pic 15: Retrieve the interior assembly and locate the 2 x 65N cables.
Pass them out of the front.

Pic 16: Fit the dashboard assembly in place with the two cables passing through the small rectangular opening.
Fix the parts with 3 x AP screws.

Pic 17: Retrieve the roll cage assembly and fit it in place as indicated.

Pic 18: Fix the rear legs of the roll cage to the back panel using 1 x AP screw from underneath in each leg.

Pic 19: Position the front leg of the roll cage behind the upright panel as shown and fix with 1 x AP screw from underneath and two more screws through the upright panel.

Pic 20: Repeat on the other side.

Pic 21: Gather the 4 x wires on the control box at the rear and pass them out of the back of the roll cage.
Fix them in place as shown using the cable tie 69N as shown.

Pic 22: Cut the excess off the cable tie and rotate it so it is not so easily seen.

Store the assembly safely.

STAGE 70:

Lower left fuel tank.

Pic 1: Cut the wire 70E into 5 x 60mm pieces.

Pic 2: Position the mesh 64H at the rear of the roll cage as shown, in an ‘L’ shape.
Using the 5 x wires, fasten the mash at the upper edge to the roll cage where indicated, twisting the wires to secure them.

Pic 3: Cut off the excess wire.

Pic 4: Retrieve the main car assembly and place it upside down.
Fit the fuel tank part 70B in place as shown.

Pic 5: From the other side, fix the tank using 4 x AP screws where indicated.

Pic 6: Fit the fuel pipe 70C into the slot at the end of the tank part 70A.

Pic 7: Fix the cover 70D in place with 2 x AP screws.

Store everything safely for now

STAGE 71A:

Lower right fuel tank and cockpit.

Pic 1: Retrieve the main assembly and carefully unplug wires 1, 2 and 3 from the PCB.

Pic 2: Fit the fuel pipe 71B into the end of the tank part 51A as shown.

Pic 3: Fix the cover 71C using 2 x AP screws.

Pic 4: Turn the main assembly over and fit the tank 71A in place and fix from the other side with 4 x AP screws

Pic 5: From above, remove the eight screws holding the central cover in place.
Do not lose the screws.

Pic 6: Remove the cover plate.

STAGE 71B:

Pic 7: From the other side, pass the speaker wire through the opening as shown.

Pic 8: Retrieve the battery box tank and pass the wires through the opening.

Pic 9: A different view to show all wires.

Pic 10: Use masking tape to temporarily fix the parts in place.

Pic 11: From above, pass the wires through the hole in the cover plate and then fix it back in place.

Pic 12: Connect the three wires back in their correct places.

Pic 13: Locate the wires 12, 13, 14 and 15 and pass them through the hole in the bulkhead as shown.

STAGE 71C:

Pic 14: Feed all the other wires through the centre of the floor as shown and fix them down with pieces of tape 71D.

Pic 15: Fit the clamps 53F as shown and fix with 1 x AM screw in each.

Pic 16: Locate wire 50D (red and black) and carefully peel the two LED’s apart as shown.

Pic 17: On the left side, tape wires 50B and 50D to the wheel arch as shown.

Pic 18: Repeat on the other side with wires 50C and 50D.

Pic 19: Retrieve the interior assembly and connect the dashboard wire to socket 4 on the PCB.
This step is missing from the printed instructions.

STAGE 71D:

Pic 20: Fit the assembly in place on the floor making sure the steering column at the front goes into the interior.

Pic 21: Connect the steering universal joint using 2 x AM screws.
Be patient as this step is very fiddly.

Pic 22: Place the car on its side and fix the interior in place with 2 x AP screws as shown.

Pic 23: Repeat on the other side.

Pic 24: Fit the battery box 51A in place making sure the silver fuel pipe locates in the opening at the front.
Fix with 4 x AP screws.

Pic 25: Fix the other tank part 70A in place in the same way, fixing with 4 x AP screws.

Store the model safely.

STAGE 72:

Front chassis guard.

Pic 1: Fit the guard bracket 72B to the chassis guard plate 72A as shown and fix with 4 x AP screws.

Pic 2: From the other side, press the guard part 72C in place in the rectangular locating slot.
Pay attention to the direction of the rivet detail.

Pic 3: Retrieve the car assembly and carefully place it on its side.
Do not attempt to place it upside down or you will severely damage the roll cage.
Fit the guard in place as shown and fix with 4 x AM screws.

Store the model safely.

Pic 1: Fit the tow hook 73B to the chassis guard plate 73A as shown and fix with 1 x AP screws from the other side.

Pic 2: Retrieve the car assembly and carefully place it on its side.
Do not attempt to place it upside down or you will severely damage the roll cage.
Fit the guard in place as shown and fix with 5 x AM screws.

Store the model safely.
