STAGE 81:

Dashboard and frame.

Pic 1: Retrieve the unused parts from the previous stage.
Press-fit the gauge 80C into the surround 80B from behind.

Pic 2: Fit the assembly into the underside of the cowl 80D as shown.

Pic 3: Press-fit the assembly into the top of the dashboard 80A as shown.

Pic 4: Fit the gauges 81C, 81F and 81D into the surround 81E.
NOTE – These parts are a loose fit and will very probably fall out so a small amount of clear adhesive such as UHU might be advisable.
This is entirely at the builder’s discretion.


Pic 5: Press-fit the assembly onto the frame 80B.

Pic 6: View from the front.

Pic 7: Fit the assembly to the underside of the dashboard and fix with 2 x AP screws.

Pic 8: Fit the frame 81A in place as shown, noting the front bar locates under the gauge assembly.

Fix with 5 x AP screws

STAGE 82A:

Dashboard and instruments.

Pic 1: Press-fit the ignition switch 82H into the dash panel 82A.
It will only fit one way.

Pic 2: Press-fit the 6 x 82D switches in place where shown.
They will only fit one way.
Fit the collar 82F onto the end of the switch 82G, and then fit the assembly into the top hole on the dashboard where shown.
Press-fit the choke knob 82E in place as shown.

Pic 3: Fit the gauge 82J into the surround 82L and then fit the assembly into the dashboard.
NOTE – This part is not a tight fit.
You may wish to use a little clear adhesive such as UHU.
This is at the builder’s discretion.


Pic 4: Fit the steering column bracket 82B as shown and fix from behind with 2 x AP screws.

Pic 5: On the back of the dash panel, fit the LED holder and fix with 2 x AAP screws.
NOTE – Do not fully tighten these screws as the bracket will push the gauge out of the front of the dashboard.

STAGE 82B:

Pic 6: Locate the air vent part 82L.
OPTIONAL DETAIL: To enhance the look of the part you could colour the vent holes black with a fine marker.
This is at the builder’s discretion.


Pic 7: Press-fit the vent into the dash panel as shown.

Pic 8: Fit the switch labels in place where indicated.
There are two sets supplied and they fit in order from the top to the bottom.

Pic 9: Retrieve the assembly from the previous stage and fix the dashboard underneath with 3 x AM screws.

Pic 10: Retrieve the small LED panel 52C and fit it over the two pegs on the rear of the gauge panel as shown.
NOTE – This part is not a tight fit so you may be advised to use a small dot of adhesive on each peg to prevent the LED panel falling off when the model is complete.
This is at the builder’s discretion.


Pic 11: Plug the LED’s into place behind the gauges as shown, and feed the other wire under the metal frame.

Pic 12: Store the assembly and unused parts safely for now.

STAGE 83A:

Pipes, panels & tanks.

Pic 1: Locate the pipe parts 83A and 83B.

Pic 2: Fit them together and fix with 2 x AAP screws.

Pic 3: Retrieve the dashboard assembly and fit the pipe underneath as shown, (highlighted grey) fixing with 1 x AP screw.

Pic 4: Retrieve the steering wheel and column and fit it place under the dashboard.
Fit the bracket 82C and fix with 2 x AP screws.

Pic 5: Press-fit the air hose 83E in place as shown.

Pic 6: Retrieve the hose assembly 32C/D and fit it in place where shown.
Fix with 2 x AAP screws.

Pic 7: Retrieve hose 33E/F and fit it as shown, connecting one end to the hose 83A/B.

STAGE 83B:

Pic 8: Press-fit the reservoir tank parts 83G and 83H together.
They will only fit one way.

Pic 9: Fix the assembly to the panel 83F using 2 x AP screws.

Pic 10: Fix the assembly under the dashboard as shown using 2 x AP screws.

Pic 11: Cut the hose 83I into five pieces using the measurements shown.

Pic 12: Fit the 2 x 20mm pipes and the 115mm pipe to the ‘Y’ bracket 83J.

Pic 13: Fit the hoses to the tank assembly in the positions shown.

Pic 14: Push the switch 83D into the fuse panel 83C as indicated.

Pic 15: Store everything safely for now.
