Issue 55

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

The Left Shoulder Joint

Insert the shaft (55F) into the base (55A), pictures 2 and 3. Place one of the springs (55H) into the spring stop (55G), then place the assembly into the base at the end where you fed the joint shaft in, pictures 4 and 5. Cover the end of the base with the shaft and spring in place with the shoulder joint cover and secure it in place using 2 x “OM” screws, pictures 6 and 7.

Feed the shaft pin (55I) into the left arm joint base (55B), picture 8, then into the joint assembly as shown in picture 9.

This next part is quite tricky and did take me some time to fit the spring into the left arm joint base.

Fit the other spring and place it on the joint locking rod (55E), picture 10. Now place the assembly into the joint arm base as shown in picture 11. Cover the assembly with the arm joint base cover (55C) securing it in place using 2 x HM screws, picture 12.

Place the nut (55J) onto the end of the shaft pin and tighten it up using the wrench, picture 13.

Picture 14 shows the complete assembly for this issue.
