Issue 39
The Left Hand
Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue. Insert one of the friction spacers into the hole in the inside of the palm of the left hand, pictures 2 and 3.
Retrieve the thumb assembly from issue 36 and secure it to the hand using a F type screw as shown in pictures 4 and 5.
Next, take the smaller spaces and fit then on the ends of the fingers as illustrated in pictures 6 and 7. Insert another larger friction spacer into the back of the hand, shown in picture 8.
Place the fingers in order into the inside of the left-hand palm, pictures 9 and 10, then place the wrist part as shown in picture 11.
Cover the assembly with the back of the hand and secure the whole assembly using 4 x F type screws, picture 12.
That completes the assembly for this stage.

Issue 40
The Left Hand
Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue. Retrieve the left hand you assembled in the previous issue and insert the friction spacer into the hole in the wrist, picture 2. Attach the two halves of the left wrist on their respective sides of the spacer, pictures 3 and 4. Secure the two in place by using 2 x F screws.
Take the sticky pad and peel the backing paper off. Wrap it around the end of the wrist as shown in pictures 5 and 6.
Attach the two halves of the mobile supports securing the two with 4 x F screws, pictures 7, 8 and 9.
Picture 10 shows the assembly stage complete for this issue.

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue. Insert the friction disc base into the left circle in the base of the left elbow and secure it in place using 2 x F screws, picture 2. Now fit the friction disc onto the assembly using 4 x J screws, picture 3.
Slot the movable elbow bar onto the central peg of the friction disc in the direction shown in picture 4, securing it in place using 4 x U screws. Note: The magazine illustrates “I” screws, please use the “U” screws that came with this issue.
Picture 5 shows the assembly stage complete for this issue.

Retrieve the assembly from the last issue and insert the friction disc base into the right circle in the base of the left elbow and secure it in place using 2 x F screws, picture 2. Now fit the friction disc onto the assembly using 4 x J screws, picture 3.

Finally, fit the left elbow cap onto the assembly as shown in picture 5, securing it in place using 3 x F screws.

Issue 43
The Left Arm
Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue. Retrieve the assembly from the last issue and fit the two smaller support caps onto both ends of the elbow as shown in picture 2. Turn the assembly over and secure them both in place using an F type screw, picture 3.
Keeping the elbow in the same position, fit the two elbow support bases securing them both using 4 x S screws, pictures 4, 5 and 6.
Attach the elbow you have just assembled to the lower cover of the left arm, marked “L1”, picture 7. Turn the assembly over and secure it using 2 x F screws as shown in picture 8.
Retrieve the wrist assembly and attach it to the other end of the lower cover, picture 9, securing it by using 2 x F screws, picture 10. Turn the assembly over and secure it on this side with another f type screw, picture 11.
Finally, attach the upper cover and secure it in place using 3 x F screws, picture 12.
Picture 13 shows the assembly stage complete for this issue.
