Right Shin Guard
Retrieve the left shin guard from issue 4. Lay the straps as shown in picture 2 with the longer strap to the top.
Now place the mounting plate over the straps and secure in place using 2 x LP screws, picture 3.
Note:The magazine instructs you to attach the assembly onto the right leg. In the next stage it will instruct you to remove it again, so I would leave it off for the time being.
That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 70 Part 1

The Left Wrist Joint
Tip: Before we start with the next section, I would recommend using a pair of sturdy pliers to compress the spring. This will make it easier to fit into the part into the housing.
Insert the shaft into the joint base, whilst simultaneously inserting the shaft pin, pictures 2 and 3.
Slide the spring onto the rod and insert the assembly into the base joint as shown in picture 4.
Attach the base cover to close the assembly using the nut and 2 x HM screws as shown in picture 8. Use the wrench that was provided in issue 7 to tighten the nut, picture 5.
Place the wrist joint assembly into the forearm cover as shown in picture 6, then place the support cover and secure it in place using 3 x UP screws, picture 7.
Attach the wrist joint to the left forearm and secure it in place using 4 x KP screws, pictures 8 and 9.
That completes the assembly for part 1 of this issue.

Issue 70 Part 2
The Left Wrist Joint
To make sure the shoe assembly fits easier it is recommended to remove the shin guards.
This next section is quite difficult to do and requires the assistants of another person. Lay the two shoes out next to the legs and position them accordingly, picture 10. Take one of the shoes and with one person positioning the shoe between the ankle protrusions, holding the leg and applying upward pressure to align the holes, get the other person to thread the screw. This will make it easier to insert the hexagonal screw, pictures 11 and 12.
On the other side of the screw, place a flat washer and spring washer over the thread and secure it with the nut using the wrench to tighten it up, picture 13.
Now do the same with the other shoe, picture 14.
Picture 15 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Left Hand Thumb and Index Finger
Identify the thumb and finger plates. They are marked with the letters “A and B” and a number engraved on the inside, picture 2.
Starting with the thumb plate, marked “A”. Attach part A1 as shown in pictures 3 and 4, followed by A2 and A3, picture 5. Turn the assembly over and attached parts A4, A5 and A6 in order, pictures 6 and 7.
Now identify the index finger parts marked “B”. Attach B1, picture 8, followed by B2 and B3, picture 9. Finish the assembly by attaching the remaining parts to the underside as before, picture 10.
Picture 11 shows the completed assembly for this issue.

Left Hand Middle and Ring Fingers
Identify the middle and ring finger plates and both the finger structures. They are marked with the letters “C and D” and a number engraved on the inside.
Starting with the middle finger structure, place the finger plates in order, marked “C”. Attach part C1 followed by C2 and C3, picture 2. Turn the assembly over and attached parts C4, C5 and C6 in order, picture 3.
Now identify the ring finger parts marked “D”. Attach the parts in the same way as before, picture 4.
That completes the assembly for this issue.
