STAGE 21:

Engine 11.

Pic 1: Locate the manifold parts 21A and 21B.
They will fit together as indicated.

Pic 2: Parts assembled.

Pic 3: Fix the manifold to the engine part 15A with 1 x AP screw from behind.
The manifold will only fit one way.

Pic 4: Locate the manifold parts 21E and 21F.
They will fit together as indicated.

Pic 5: Parts assembled.

Pic 6: Fix the manifold part 21C to the assembly as shown with 1 x KP screw.

Pic 7: Press-fit manifold part 21D into place.

Pic 8: Fix the manifold to the engine with 1 x AP screw from behind.
The manifold will only fit one way.

Store safely for now.

STAGE 22:

Engine 12.

Pic 1: Locate the manifold parts 22A and 22B.
They are marked R3 on the inside.

Pic 2: Press-fit the parts together.

Pic 3: Fit assembly to the engine as shown and fix with 1 x AP screw from underneath.
The part will only fit one way.

Pic 4: Press-fit 22C and 22D together.

Pic 5: Fit assembly to the engine as shown and fix with 1 x AP screw from underneath.
The part will only fit one way.

Store safely for now.

STAGE 23:

Engine 13.

Pic 1: Locate manifold parts 23A and 23B.
They will press-fit together.

Pic 2: Parts assembled.

Pic 3: Fit the manifold to the engine block as before.
It will only fit one way.
Fix from behind with 1 x AP screw.

Pic 4: Press-fit the manifold coupling in place as shown.

Store safely for now.

STAGE 24:

Engine 14.

Pic 1: Press-fit the exhaust ends 24A and 24B together.
They will only fit one way.

Pic 2: Connect the sensor parts 24C, 24D and 24E together.

Pic 3: Fit the silver sensor into the previous assembly.

Pic 4: Retrieve the previous engine assembly and fit the exhaust end as shown.

Pic 5: Retrieve the other half of the engine block to fit the parts together.

Pic 6: Parts fitted together from underneath.

Pic 7: Fix with 2 x EM screws as shown.

Pic 8: Retrieve the end panel 11A and fix it to the end of the engine using 2 x CM screws.

Pic 9: Store safely for now.

STAGE 25:

Engine 15.

NOTE – There are two virtually identical packs – 25 and 26 but they are not numbered.
To identify the pack you need look closely at the inside of the cylinder heads.
They are marked ‘L’ and ‘R’.
You need the ‘L’ pack here.

Pic 1: Pack required.

Pic 2: Fix the end plate 25C to the end of the cover 25A as shown using 2 x AM screws.
The flatter side is down.
Make sure you fit it to the correct end.

Pic 3: Fit the other end plate 25D at the other end and fix with 2 x AM screws.
The side with two projections is up.

Pic 3: Fix the cover to the left side of the engine with 2 x EM screws.

Pic 4: Press-fit the centre strip 25B in place and store safely for now.
