STAGE 107:

Power coils.

NOTE – The printed instructions tell you to fit the 2 x clear filaments into the 6 x black brackets on the side of the car.
You will very possibly find this extremely difficult as the filaments are not flexible enough, and constantly spring out of place.
The method below should make the task easier.

Pic 1: Fit the filaments into the top bracket and then press-fit the frame 107A over the top.
Do not worry about the rest of the filaments just now.

Pic 2: Fit the filaments into the lower bracket on the side of the car and then add the frame 107B.

Pic 3: Fit the filaments into the next two brackets and then add the frame 107C, screwing it in place with 1 x AP screw, and 1 x AP screw in part 107B.
This will keep the filaments in place.

Pic 4: Fit the filaments into the bracket as shown and fix the frame with 1 x AP screw.

Pic 5: Turn the car over and fit the frame 107D s shown, trapping the filaments in the bracket.
Fix with 1 x AP screw.

Pic 6: Fit the grille 107I as shown, making sure the slightly curved end faces the back.
Fix the end near the junction box with 2 x IP screws.
Remove the AP screw fitted at step 5, and then add 2 x AP screws through the grille as shown.
Then fit another 2 x IP screws at the end of the grille.

Pic 7: Turn the car the right way up and fit the grille 107E, fixing it at the top with 2 x IP screws.
Remove the AP screw in the top bracket, fold the grille down and fix with 2 x AP screws.
Fix with a further 2 x IP screws in the lower bracket.

Pic 8: Fit the curved grille 107F and fix where shown with 2 x AP screws and 2 x IP screws.

Pic 9: Fit the curved grill 107H at the rear.
Remove the AP screws previously fitted and fix the grille with 4 x IP and 2 x AP screws where shown.

Pic 10: Remove the AP screw near the front and fit the grille 107G.
Fix with 4 x AP and 4 x IP screws where shown.

Store the car safely for now.
