Issue 129

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Rear Bumper and Rear Valence Panel

In this issue we get to assemble the top and bottom halves together.

First attach both doors using 2 x DS12 screws as shown in picture 2, 3 and 4.

Retrieve the passenger compartment and join the wires 11,12,13,14,16 and 17 together from the body section and neatly place the cables behind the dashboard as shown in pictures 5 and 6.

Turn the model upside down, I recommend using a soft towel of blanket for this stage, and place 8 x DS10 screws in the location illustrated in picture 7.

Add the licence plate to the rear of the valence panel using 2 x PS07 screws, picture 8. Fit the left and right exhaust outlets into the recess in the lower part of the valence using a PS05 screw, picture 9.

Put the rear reflectors in the circular holes in the valence, pictures 10 and 11. Now push fit the lenses into the reflectors, picture 12.

Fit the assembly on the back of the body, picture 13 and then attach the rear bumper pushing the six pins into the assembly which will fix both assemblies in place, picture 14.

That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 130

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Remote Control and Parking Brake

Place the tube connectors on the end of the two black tubes, picture 2. With the car turned over, push fit the tubes onto the left and right hydraulic hand brake retainer and the other end into the rear drum brake inner covers, picture 3.

Place the cable from the top of the remote into the circuit board as shown in picture 4. Fit the keypad in place into the holes, then place the circuit board over the top, securing it in place using 2 x PS05 screws, picture 5. Fit the back of the remote and secure it using another PS05 screw, picture 6. Fit 2 x AAA batteries in, then push for the battery cover, pictures 7 and 8.

Picture 9 shows the remote assembled and ready for use. To use the remote, open the left side door and push the switch by the inner door in the on position.

Congratulations, you have now completed the 1:6 scale Ford Mustang.

The two final pictures show the Mustang complete.
