The Neck

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue

Join the rear neck joint to the front neck joint and secure using a F Screw, pictures 2 and 3.

Place 4 x F screws, two each side of the neck joint, pictures 4 and 5. Now attach this assembly to the neck assembly by placing the two neck joint supports. Secure the supports in place using 4 x type Y screws, two at the front and two at the back, pictures 6, 7 and 8.

Note: The magazine instructs you to secure the parts using the type F screws. This is incorrect and you should use the Y screws.

Now fit the gorget using 2 x F type screws, picture 9.

Note: The magazine instructs you to secure the gorget using the type Y screws. This is incorrect and you should use the F screws.

Make sure the cables pass through the upper opening of the neck on the body armour, then attach the neck assembly to the body using 2 x type F screws as shown in picture 10.

That completes the assembly for this stage.

Issue 103

Connections

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue

Attach the circuit board to the outer battery box as shown in picture 2. Picture 3 is a picture of the wiring diagram to show where the six cables attach and in what order.

Tip: For those like me who could bot find the battery cable, mine was tucked in the recess of the battery box.

Use the cable to tidy the wiring so the circuit board cover can fit over the circuit board, picture 4.

That completes the assembly for this stage.
