Hi Guys

I have been collecting diecast for around 15 years and thought I should share them with you. My interest has been mainly F1 & Ferrari diecast but I have made a handfull of models over the years but not really progressed from the standard from when we were kids. Worried I was not capable of doing our McLaren justice earlier this year I built the Williams in the first picture and in the process gained some valueable skills (you can see this model in more detail in the 'other car & bike builds' section).

I won't go into detail now about every model but feel free to ask any questions.

BigGrin A very nice collection you have there my friend and even nicer to see that you have spent the time and money to display it properly with all the various cabinets and cases, particularly like the two Rossi bikes with figures as I have the 1/9 Revell model of the Repsol Honda, lovely bike, have a look in 'Kev's Models' in 'Other Car & Bike Builds'. Nothing wrong at all with your modelling skills either, has I think you have done a good job with the Tamiya Williams.

Excellent stuff and thank you for sharing it with us !! ThumpUp

Hi Jam

The nose cone is 1/12 scale, the steering wheel next to it is 1/4 scale both are Amalgam models of the MP4-22, when I get the free steering wheel in a couple of months I will do a comparison of quality/detail etc.

Jerry (Kryten2b) has a 1/8 nose cone of the MP4-22 from when Deagostini did a trial a couple of years ago, you can see that in 'Jerry's 2nd McLaren' build diary.

Will you be getting the free steering wheel? and what freebies are there in Malaysia? it seems the freebies for subscribers differ from country to country.

We Get;
1 Free Issue
1 Binder
Lewis Team Cap
Keyring
1/4 steering wheel
