Been having some fun today shipmates, I thought that I would get down to putting main fighting top together...I glued the main parts together then when it came to drilling the holes, alarm bells began to ring in that empty space where my brain once was about there being some consternation on the forum about the exact positioning of the holes?? So, Stoked up the old boiler, raised a good head of steam and applied power to my PC to check out the correct measurements..and guess what?? My ruddy internet went down....So it was well after lunch that I was able to get the info and make a start on the main top, so, the following couple of pictures show my progress... When the glue main top eventually hardens, I will tidy up the edges, add a further couple of parts such as the hand rail before giving the whole job a coat of black paint... Well, that's my lot for the day my friends, happy building... Current Builds: Deagostini HMS Victory: Deagostini HMS Sovereign of the seas. Completed Builds: Del Prado: HMAS Bounty: Hachette: RMS Titanic: Del Prado: Cutty Sark...

Hi there shipmates...My last build posting was way back in November, and because of health reasons, I have not been able to do much, so the following pictures show my progress so far... [ [img [img And finally for now, testing out one of the most mentioned complaints, the twisting and possibly snapping of the wire? I did not run into that problem, but, hey..I've only done two??? Well, that is my lot for now, and I'll try not to leave it so long before I post again, and being on issue 65 at the moment..I collected issue 102 yesterday...Am I behind...Err...sort of??? Catch yer later shipmates...Happy modelling!! Current Builds: Deagostini HMS Victory: Deagostini HMS Sovereign of the seas. Completed Builds: Del Prado: HMAS Bounty: Hachette: RMS Titanic: Del Prado: Cutty Sark...
