Installing the rear skirts - These were supplied with issue 37. Test fit the left rear skirt, hold it up against the side of the underbody, matching up the two pairs of upper and lower locating pins with the corresponding holes, and when familiar with the fit glue the skirt into place, then repeat at the opposite side with the right-hand rear skirt.

That's it for this week, carefully store the underbody.

Issue 39 - Contains the front underbody and the right & left underbody panel covers; and has instructions for Stage 4 of assembling the underbody - fitting the panel covers and joining the underbody sections.

Fitting the panel covers - Take the left front underbody panel cover and test fit it into the matching recess in the underside of the front underbody, when you are familiar and happy with the fit glue it into place and repeat at the opposite side with the right front underbody cover.

Joining the underbody sections - Take the underbody assembly completed at issue 38, and test fir the front underbody ensuring that the whole of the long joint engages correctly and that the underbody is flat.

When you are familiar and happy with the fit, separate the parts and then glue/fix them together.
It is very important that you keep the underbody straight and flat, you can use masking tape to hold the two sections together, but ensure that the underbody remains flat and leave undisturbed for at least an hour, and ensure that the glue has set before removing the tape.

That's it for this week, carefully store the underbody.

Attaching the front underbody centre cover - Test fit the centre cover to familiarise the contact points of where to apply the glue, then glue the part in place and secure with masking tape.

Attaching the bargeboard stays to the underbody - Take the left stay and match it to the underbody, and identify the four locating points.
Carefully apply ABS glue to each of the four contact points and gently press the stay in place, making sure that all four points engage properly, use masking tape to hold the parts together and leave for at least an hour for the glue to set.

Repeat the process at the opposite side with the right-hand stay
