I think your advice is being followed by many of us newbies that have purchasd and have not started yet. I for one am taking your improvements to heart and believe that Eaglemoss should be informed about the lack of quality of their product. Here id Sa we dont have that many issues yet but I am not in a position to pass comment on quality being relatively new to the wood model building fraternity. One can seen that you put a lot of effort and research into your projects please keep it up for all our sakes Rgds, Hans

ISSUE 40 I then clamped the pieces in place using my long bars, you can use them to push as well as clamp in the traditional way. Hi MWG, Great build I am watching your build with close interest as this will be my next wood build,at present up to issue 42 unpacked but as Hans said you have put a lot off effort in this model and the good thing is you are prepared to help others. looking at your long clamps i wonder if they do the same as mine unscrew the fixed end pice screw it on the other end then the clamp workes in reverse

Hi Mike, Your build looks great and it would seem that you really are beginning to prove that, actually, it IS possible to 'make a silk purse out of a sow's ear' !!
