I have been thinking about "leading" the roof of the entry port canopy and which materials to use.

I use a drug to control excess stomach acid and the foil that you push the drugs out of makes a (in my opinion) perfect material.

As long as there in more than a 10mm strip between each tablet.

I superglued this to the canopy and then filed the edges to fit. As long as the "grain" runs left to right or back to front it looks great, much if the grain is slightly off it looks "wrong"

Is the same material that I have used.

Spot on there Riff raff, there is very thin lead sheet around to do exactly what you have done on your example.
I purchased a small sheet of preglued lead sheet from a fly fishing site for around £3, you have achieved what I was looking for from a throw away source that actually looks more suited to the job.
Full marks for ingenuity and leading by example!
Thankyou for that.
All the best Steve..

Thanks Farrabass. I looked at the lead sheet but didn't really like the look of it. It was only when I was throwing and empty tablet box away that I really looked at the packaging.

I much prefer the texture to plain lead, but don't get me wrong, each to their own for which method they use mine was only personal choice. And I do like to recycle !!
