buy the way when i said used brass tube for the lanterns you only need to run one of the wires through the tube do not bare this one and use the tube as the second other words bare one of the wires right back to the bulb and attch it to tube in side the lantern at the top and at the bottom of the tube in side the model attch the 2core wire to it and the single bulb wire that comes out of the tube this in just case you wonder how can you get 2 wires down the tube small bore

THE GALLERY I have decided to paint matt black on the bottem deck and area of this section,as the "heads" were port and starboard on the bottem deck of the Gallery, I thought it made sense I will fit appropriate floor coverering on the deck above, with some subdued lighting, plus I like Trev`s (Tf64)table and chairs MWG attached the following image(s): MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

Hi MWG, Your model to me is a fine example of how it should be done, like me you are still working on the gallery but I know it will be worthwhile in the end.I have layed floors and added bits here and there and will light it up as yourself, but still a long way back from the forum. Regards tf64. ps: can you tell me the size off the pictures you put into put into Photobucket ? is 640x480 correct. Hi Trev, I do not use photo bucket I keep all of the photos in my laptop. I plug in my camera, the photo wizard comes up, I have always the top highlighted (copy to a section of the computor) I then copy the photos to a particular album on my computor. I then go to Micosoft picture manager (on my Computor) choose the album on my computor where I have stored the photos, and then resize them to 800 x 600 have I made sense? I hope this helps MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

Hi Trev Thanks for your nice comments by the way. I will take forever with this build, I want to get it as accurate as I can, although I do realise there are limits, there are some great builds from some really good people, and I am learning from them every day, there are so many enhancements I want to do, the ships wheel, the binnicle, and other ideas I have in my head, most of all the Gallery enhancement. S o B has done the best gallery build so far,but it is still not right, the balustrades spoil it for me, we need an accurate gallery kit and I am even more determined to deliver that. If it takes 4 years to build my Victory so be it. Your table and chairs is brilliant, I will be using that idea, if thats ok Trev? can you show me what you have done with the gallery decks? Sorry If I have gone on a bit, I am so passionate about this build MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

Sorry If I have gone on a bit, I am so passionate about this build I am in the same mindset as you... I will be making some considerable changes to the cabin area issue 57 in the next 2-3 weeks to improve the accuracy. i am scrapping the supplied cabin bulkheads and replacing with scratch built adding the doors and windows to the correct size and adding the pillars. There is also a raised cover for the steps behind the wheel i will be adding that. there is a lot of detail missing that is easy to fabricate at little cost. Still thinking about how i improve that horrid chimney “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain
