Hi Shipmates,
Apologize for not sending a build report in,but I have to buy a new computer which I have found not easy to link up with all that I need, but I have not been lazy with the Victory. What I am trying to do is to make miniature furnishings for Lord Admiral Nelson's main cabin, this I have found a big challenge to work in such small detail,I know that you will all say that it will not be seen when complete but I just had to take my modeling just a bit further.I am still a long way back from you guys but it is the end result I am looking for.
Regards tf64.

Hi Guys.
As promised a few pictures on how I built my small chairs,I found that the main aim was to keep everthing square,This is so important at this stage and at this scale of modeling.
Chairs: 14mm High.
Legs: 3mm Long by 1.5mm Square.
Seat: 8mm Square.
First make a jig I used balsa, and slot in a base plate to work from.

Draw a line 14mm from the base plate add the first rear leg.
Then draw another line 8mm apart from the out side of the first leg.
Measure down 8mm add top and seat middle sections.
Next I made the seat from 2mm ply.First cut a square 8mm shape up to square.

Next add the front legs, this is better done out off tye jig.

Hope this is off interest.
Regards tf64

Hi Trevor.
Just had a look at the pics you posted on Mike's diary for the furnishing of the gallery and I am absolutely amazed at the level of detail you have gone too. It looks absolutely bloody marvelous. You are a genuine craftsman to say the least. Keep it up and I will be stealing some of your ideas if you do not mind.
