Hello there....
New to the forum, but I've been visiting since part 1.
I too get a bit 'peeved' when a mag turns up with one tyre, or whatever, but I'm sticking with it. DON'T GIVE UP!!!
I check the parts each time they arrive, but so far I haven't opened anything!
When I have ALL the bits, it will be a mega-project!
I'm very keen on big kits and love adding the extra wiring, plumbing and pipework, but they are a pain to display.
Luckily, my other half is incredibly supportive - so far she has bought me the following in just 12 months:
Tamiya 1/12: Lotus 49, Lotus 72, Lotus 78, Porsche 935, Lola T70.
Trumpeter 1/12 Ford GT40.
Nichimo 1/12 Lotus Europa.
I've also bought the Tamiya 1/12 Renault R20 F1, Revell 1/12 Ferrari Testarossa, and Ferrari F40.
Monogram 1/8 1966 Corvette and 1/8 E-Type Jaguar......
A LOT of big stuff to last me into retirement. (I'm 57)
There's also a LARGE stash of 1/16, 1/20, 1/24, 1/32 and 1/43 kits piled in cupboards. In total, around 60-70 kits.
I've attached a couple of pics of my GT40 - I made all the decals myself.
Am I the only 'kit hoarder' here?
My dream kit if Deag. are listening????
1/8 Aston DBR9

Roy.
