i think the working stand is a ply frame that the hull stands on, larger than a display stand

Each build comes to the point where you need to support the keel to keep it upright while you work. I use a nice piece of polystyrene foam packing that you get with electrical equipment and the such. Cut a groove or larger shape with a sharp knife to support the boat and Roberts your mothers brother! You then have somewhere to safely keep knives, pencils etc as well.

Remember my first job in 1964 being sent to my foreman for a long stand,or a left handed screw driver.they thought it very amusing.
